The perfect light for Technichins, Mechanics, poorly lighted Indoor work shops
Finally ! A perfect work light that is long lasting , rechargeable , perfect brightness of pure white light and you can drop it in the tool bag and it wont shatter. Also if you finally do use up the rechargeable battery in it you can get a placement on Amazon for $12. The light is all aluminum " rugged ", USB C charging. One feature I love is it is either ON or OFF, no clicking through red, green, then strobe and all that to turn it off. There is a see through light behind the rubber on/off button to gives you running battery status, and when it's fully charged. I own a Marine electric business and I am always working in dark places and dark engine rooms, I have used the light 4 days now, from 4-6 hours a day and I put it on charge in my work truck at night, the light automatically shuts charging off when fully charged. This beats those plastic housing non rechargeable , click through a bunch of setting survival lights all day long. And it's Cheaper than many.

Way nicer than my Energizer Headlamp
Battery costs got me to finding a better solution. Tried rechargeable NIMH and considered lithium's, but it's just a scam with thise batteries cause they just stop working so short in their life (2 to 6 times use if you're lucky - see the reviews, a joke honestly). So I needed something else, and I had an option with a flashlight to use an 18650 Cell - which I did and loved it.So jumped to finding options for this energizer headlamp which was eating about $25 every two months in batteries from Sams Club (the big packs). Yeah this definately fits the bill.I'm still initially trying this out, but in every way (but one), this is the way to go without a second thought. The brightness, I use it one setting one or two. Setting one in my storage shed or for say an attic where it is really dark, also if I am using the cell phone. Setting two in parking lots or lightly lit afterhours areas. I preptrip a Semi with this in setting two. I can see Setting three possibly used at times in say a shop under a truck or where you go from bright and well lit areas to under something. bBut it gets really bright from thereout, actually has 5 settings. I don't use the other ones. The lenses I wasn't sure about at first because they were near and wide, but it almost looked liek a distance lens as the second one - and I can say this 100% that they have it figured out on the light diffusion and spacial whatever that makes this work as well as it does.Love the charging port. That was clever - to unscrew the cap and have the port right there, very smart, thankyou!!The ability to rotate it is nice and super easy. Headband is comfortable and easily adjustable. The only thing is, trying to grab and quick mount the thing cause you can't tell which was is up except for the split in the headband backing thing that sits against your forehead - look for this, cause otherwise you'll go to press the button, and it's facing the other way. That is my only gripe, and it's a small one.Plan to attach this to my MK8 Type 2 Helmet at working with some 3M two sided tape, snd buy a couple of spares. I also have a couple of bad Bosch 18V Tool Batteries that have these cells in them, so if this battery ever goes bad, I can use one of the good cells left in those older battery packs (probably had a single bad cell, board went bad, whatever). Something to keep in mind.Overall, buying this saves me about $120 a year in batteries, let alone the hassle. Really happy with it.

Good quality for the price
Solid light for the money. Not as bright as I was expecting for the claimed 1200 lumens, but at this price point I was happy for a rechargeable headlamp that actually lasts a decent amount of time. Has a higher mah battery than my other rechargeable light. I would say brightness is comparable to my 500 lumen lights

Beats em' All To-Date
My dad and I each have one of these D25S headlamps - which we bought to replace some cheapo-LED lights that needed to be retired. Just to give you an idea: the old lights required a AAA battery cell, were heavy (1/2 lb) and only 100 lumens. The 3 AAA batteries required would last 1 hour, on a good day. We even bought Eneloop rechargeables to save on the cost of batteries - but it just wasn't practical because the light just didn't last long enough and recharging took too long - and that says a lot about how poor-a-design the old lights were, because the Eneloop batteries typically last longer [in our experience] than traditional batteries.Anyway, onto the D25S headlamp. Long story short - my dad and I really dig this lamp. We use them for different purposes, but in any case, it's something you'll want to have in your arsenal of useful tools. The D25S is great for a number of reasons. Here's my take on it (not necessarily in order of priority):1. It's rechargeable via USB with an indicator light to dictate charging/charged (red/green, respectively)2. The 18650 battery is stored in the same compartment as the light (not on the back of your head in some brick, like many LED's on the market)3. The strap is very soft, pliable, and minimalistic - will fit anyone comfortably, even if you needed to wear a hat.4. Most importantly, it's bright! VERY BRIGHT. The only thing brighter that I own is my Hikari LED headlights on my car (highly recommend if you're tired of halogens or HIDs).5. The push button for turning the light on is simple - you don't have to fiddle with it to work as you do on many flashlights or headlamps. It's also coarsely textured so if your hands are wet or gloved, you can press the button easily.6. The fixture swivels so your neck doesn't have to.7. This strap does not interfere with the hair on the top of your head, which can make for a real "head-scratcher".There are a few things I wish were better:A. I wish there were clasps from the fixture around the light instead of just the two snap rings. If you were to bump it or drop it hard enough, the light might jump out of the head fixture. Adding clasps might add a little weight, but it's a good insurance policy if you're wild with your light [presumably from excitement of the brightness :].B. A lock for the strap - sometimes, the strap will loosen on its own. If there was a lock or a clasp to keep the straps from moving, it would take less time to adjust and readjust when taking on and off the light between uses.C. A little extra padding on the light mount at the forehead - the light can heat up a bit on turbo mode and when it does, you can feel the heat around your forehead. Not a problem in the cold, but in the heat - can be a little uncomfortable. A rubber insulated pad would most likely reduce this, but at the cost of added weight. The rubber might not be needed if...D. There were a few more cooling vanes on the light housing- not that it overheats, but in turbo, the light gets very warm (as a powerful LED does anyway). For very obvious reasons, heat is no good for a rechargeable battery or the LED and the more power cycles in less-than-optimal temperature ranges, the less likely the battery and LED will last a long time. For the price - you can't beat this light. Sure, there are a few things I wish were different, but I really am quite pleased with it. It's SO MUCH BETTER than the other lights on the market in 2019, and it's certainly better than anything you could buy locally in a hardware store or hunting/fishing outlet. It's also much less expensive.I really quite enjoy this light [as does my dad]. It's saved us both lots of time and labor with fiddling with some big, hefty 'industrial' light to illuminate a job - big or small, from 2m soldering to big rig oil changes. It's hard to believe we've worked this long without such a bright addition to our toolbox(es).
