This I thought would be a great thing to get because I thought it would work like a field/motion/proximity sensor. Maybe like the Dual Zone sensor that I saw advertised. But I was very inexperienced and even some of the auto technicians didnt know what it was for because they're used to using the proximity sensors.. Well the price was cheap so I went for it and I guess I didnt know how to test it for functionality. It might only work with windows up and if someone is able to either open your door or break your window, but I figure a shock sensor and door sensor would recognize that. I disconnected mine and ended up getting a proximity sensor. Put I ended up disconnecting that too because it's either too sensitive or not sensitive enough.

First let me say that the product itself works wonderfully. I had mine installed in A pillars. The problem is that they remain active even after vehicle is started (This is because vehicle alarm stays active when remote started). The result is a signal to the brain which causes internal relays in brain to click. Starts to drive you batty after a while. Thus depending on your brain location, can get real annoying.

I like the sensors because they really do work as advertised. The only reason I gave it four stars is you cannot leave your windows cracked for ventilation on hot days. The air movement in the vehicle will trigger the sensors. I get alot of questions about them because most people havent seen them in use yet.

This works as advertised. It detects air disturbances in the cabin of the vehicle. With the sensors properly set up you CAN leave your windows down. I left my windows down on a particularly windy day and the sensor was only triggered by reaching into the vehicle. These are installed on both of my A pillars about 8 inches from the top and angled around 45 degrees away from the window.

Is an excellent product, without problem it is being added to my Viper alarm, easy installation, no problems adding more items with it, be sure to put in a good point inside the car, is more effective if you put from middle to up.

Very sensitive inside vehicle, no false alarms unless windows are left down.

Garbage,i spent 2 hrs running wires and hooking it up and it doesnt even work..this is the 3rd item i bought from amazon this month that doesnt even go on..i cant return ..threw packaging away..
