Coleman 12-Piece Stainless Steel Enamel Flatware Set

I still have the utensil set, but they could have made the pouch out of a heat resistant material. It got close enough to the fire to start melting.

Some of the tines on the forks are twisted. Material is cheap and apparently not stamped carefully. Not the Coleman product I grew up with.

This is good, basic flatware for the great outdoors. It's not flashy, but it does the job and does it pretty well. My set had no problem with "gaps" in construction. As far as people complaining about the case, I haven't had any problems with pieces coming out during transport. If you do, it's simple enough to simply roll the case tight and put a rubberband around it.The best features are that this set is reuseable, thus saving on litter, and cheap, thus saving on the wallet.

The quality of these utensils do not match up with the price. But I actually returned the set because a rivet came off of one of the pieces.

Bought this for camping with my family and am very happy I did. All utensils go abck into the sack after cleaning and when rolled up and tied, nothing will fall out. I thought the quality was good, especially for the price. I don't know that I would carve a turkey with them, but for everyday use, they are great.

Do know that this flatware may not be red once delivered, mine was black. If that matters to you at all but mine was to match my blue enamel dining set while camping and I am a "Glamper" so it matters to me. I design camping photos for publication. The flatware goes back!Update June 15, 2012.The Seller (through Amazon) said they will not pay for the return of the black flatware because it's Amazon's fault it is pictured red. So not only did GoCampingCheap charge me $8.00 to ship it to me but they also made me pay $8.13 to send it back. The flatware only cost $12.99. I paid $16.00 in shipping charges total on a $13.00 purchased. Do not purchase from Standard Camping Supplies or GoCampingCheap (same company)or you will regret it if the product is delivered wrong or if you don't like the product accordinng to them.

I love camping accessories that save space and time. This set does both. The quality and portability are really great. You can even fit a few extra things in here. They did a good job making necessary tweaks to conventional form of spoons and forks in order to get them to roll into the carry case - the forks and spoons are a little flatter at the business end and straighter from the handle to the tip than regular utensils - but this is only so much as is necessary for compactness.I bought this set based on reviews - including a video review. The video highlighted one drawback that I agreed with - the Velcro fastener on the soft carry-case prevented rolling the set up as tight and compact as was possible. It looks like they've addressed that by adding tie-straps.All-in-all, this is a durable, compact, and lightweight set good for any style of camping.

It works, does exactly what it is supposed to. I purchased alongside the Coleman 12-Piece Enamelware set. They roll up and fit nicely inside the same (original) box as the Enamelware.
