Very nice figure 8 brace.
This brace gives good stability, is comfort and is a reasonable thickness. It fits is several of my shoes and boots. You will need to open up the laces as far as you can to get your shoe on which is talked about in the instructions. This company even followed up after delivery to make sure I received my brace and that I was happy with it. It is also a very nice value. I recommend it.

More comfortable
Buying an ankle brace can be confusing because they all have similar descriptions and pictures. But there are VERY significant differences in quality, comfort and fit. I have had to wear an ankle brace for about 8 months, and have tried 4 different manufacturers. Of those I purchased, this one is clearly the best quality, the most comfortable and thin enough that it fits all the shoes I can currently wear. I have gotten rid of the others braces. I don't recommend many products, but I appreciate this one enough to do it.

Strong side support, feels great on my sprained ankle, and solutions to common problems
The instructions are in the Amazon description (right below the photos of injured athletes). I included the photo instructions in my review for those who missed it.I bought this particular brace because it has lace, side support, a low price, and the smallest percentage of negative reviews compared to other similar braces in that price range with many reviews.I read the negative reviews before buying it (I always do before a purchase), and tried to think up of solutions if I encountered the same problems. After receiving the brace, I realized it was too tight, just like other reviewers said. For my foot size 8 1/2 - 9 Wide, the Medium size is the right length but way too tight, even when it’s unlaced. So I cut the left side of the fabric “tongue” that goes under the lace. So now it’s adjusted to the width of my foot.1st problem is solved. The lace is too short so I bought a packet of lace at the Dollar Tree for $1. I use one lace for the foot part, and another lace for the ankle part and above. 2nd problem is solved.I figured if I received a brace with a messed up, bunched up bottom seam that hurt like some reviewers mentioned, I would try to wear it with a Dr. Scholl's cushioning gel insole (I always have a couple on hand at home) to not feel the seam.As it is I was lucky to have received a brace with a good bottom seam that I don’t feel, so that wasn’t a problem for me.Some mentioned that the velcro separated from the straps over time due to poor stitching. I haven’t had my brace for long so that hasn’t happened to mine so far. But if it does after longer use, I’ll re-stitch the velcro with my sewing machine. If the heel opening is too tight, just make a small cut to the top of it to make it wider. If it’s still too tight, make another small cut to the right or left side of the opening etc. (I’m giving solutions for those who already have the brace and are stuck with it)I can wear the brace with running shoes and crocs.I’m giving it a four stars rating because the brace feels GREAT on my sprained ankle and swollen foot (but I might lower my rating after a few weeks of wearing the brace if anything change). The support feels strong. My ankle is firmly secured.I’m using it only for walking on my severely sprained ankle as it heals (not to play sports like basketball, tennis, or go jogging). For someone like me on a tight budget this brace does the job and didn’t cost much.

works fine
Bought for my son for playing basketball after he rolled his ankle. Works fine. PT recommended he get an ankle brace, and he approved of this one. My son rolled his ankle twice, so PT said he has to wear a brace from now on while playing. My kid says this is comfortable. He doens't notice it except it' gets a little hot. but he's happy, so I'm happy. I bought two of them, so he could switch off, as he plays nearly every day. My son wears size 10 1/2 shoe if that's helpful.

Comfortable and adjustable
Bought this because I have a terrible habit of rolling my foot outwards when I walk which eventually makes my knee swell up. I use it as a “trainer” to try to break the habit and my knee has appreciated the effort 😉. It’s comfortable but since it’s summertime and I am wearing flops all the time, I had to cut the center out of a sock to wear underneath it to prevent pinching from the flip flop strap. I like the fact I can adjust for how much stability I want. It’s still going strong after a couple months of wearing it at least every other day.

Honest review
After reading alot of reviews on multiple braces, I pulled the trigger on this one. I am on week #6 of healing from a broken fibula at the ankle and torn ligament. The boot I was given is so bulky and extremely uncomfortable to wear and walk in, that the orthotic Dr felt I would be ok to try a stabilizing brace to start weight bearing and walking again lightly.Out of the package it’s not attractive and frankly it’s a pain in the butt to get on and it takes alot of playing with to get the right fit. I do feel it does give some support but its way too bulky to wear with shoes other than flops. I can only wear it for a few hours before I can’t take the irritating feeling anymore and go through the long process of getting it off. All in all it’s good for someone but just doesn’t really give me the right type of support that’s comfortable.

great buy, better than compression socks
I used to play basketball and other sports a lot and i sprained my ankle pretty bad for a few times..therefore, when i do exercise now, i always need to wear ankle protection stuff. However, I always think that the compression socks are not tight and stable enough to support my moves. So I need something stronger. This ankle brace just suffice with its laces to adjust to the extent of tightness you want from the inside. It's kinda tight when you slide you foot in but it doesn't make you uncomfortable when you are playing basketball with this on. I think it's because of the material which is elastic and breathable. So based on how it works with my ankle, i'm pretty satisfied with this brace.

Ankle brace
This ankle brace is well-made and arrived on time.. Although it did offer some support to my ankle, it wasn’t enough. I have bone on bone in my ankle and will ultimately need surgery.
