Pricy but worth it
My daughter has type 1 diabetes, so I'm constantly experimenting with various sugar substitutes. She can have regular sugar of course, but it's nice to work with substitutes that won't affect her BG. My main problem has been that I don't like the flavor of Stevia and various sugar alcohol's, great for my daughter as there's more for her, but it would be nice to enjoy the things I bake once in a while - enter Allulose, my new and only favorite sugar substitute! To me it doesn't have the after taste of Stevia et al (only if I taste it straight out of the bag). It works like regular table sugar, easy to bake with, and for us same ratio, so very easy to just trade it out for traditional sugar in various recipes. And thankfully so far no side effects or tummy issues, which some reviewers have experienced. Yes it's expensive, but for us it's worth it!

Awesome for keto
This stuff is GREAT.I am on keto so suger is off my list. I also suffer from migraines, and artificial sweeteners trigger them, so Splenda and any sugar alcohols are off my list too.I can use stevia, and I do, but it is nothing like real sugar. This stuff is a miracle. It Cooks like real sugar. It looks like sugar. It tastes dang near like real sugar. It is not 100 percent as sweet, but sure is close enough, and I don't need things very sweet, I have been on keto for a year and I am used to things not tasting super sweet.I have made bbq sauce, catsup, ice cream, Carmel sause, candies, sweetened yogurt, and dozens of other things.I use it when I am making stuff that I want to eat but my non-keto family members will eat too and no one notices the difference. It's amazing.Read the research on it's nutrition info, including published data from the FDA. Your body doesn't have the enzymes to break it down, doesn't act like sugar in your body.

Great for Low-Calorie Sweetening
I've been using the Allulose Crystalline Powder for a considerable amount of time, and while it has some positives, there are a few drawbacks to consider. Here's my experience:Low-Calorie and Zero Net Carb: As a sweetener, Allulose is fantastic for those looking to reduce their sugar intake without sacrificing taste. It's low in calories and has zero net carbs, making it suitable for keto and diabetic diets.Noticeable Powdery Flavor: One downside I found with this product is its noticeable powdery flavor. While it sweetens effectively, the powdery taste can be somewhat discernible in recipes, especially when used in larger quantities.Versatile Use: Despite the powdery flavor, I found this sweetener to be quite versatile. I've used it in baking, cooking, and even in my morning coffee with satisfactory results. It dissolves well and adds sweetness without the need for additional sugar.Final Thoughts: Overall, the Allulose Non-GMO Pure Crystalline Powder is a decent sweetener for those seeking a low-calorie and zero net carb option. However, the noticeable powdery flavor may not be to everyone's liking. If you're sensitive to taste nuances, you may want to consider other sweetener options.

Great for baking or when you need the other properties of sugar
I use Lakanto erythritol with monkfruit for most recipes but erythritol has some properties that make it unsuitable for certain things. It doesn't really caramelize and in high concentration liquids it can precipitate out as they cool, forming an unappealing, gritty crust on the bottom of stuff like custards, caramel sauces and pecan pies. It also causes a cooling effect that is undesirable in certain things. For these recipes I have switched to allulose. Allulose stays in suspension, carmelizes and browns just like white sugar. It is not as sweet as white sugar or sweeteners that are supposed to measure like sugar, but it is the same sweetness as straight erythritol so you can generally substitute it 1:1 if the recipe calls for straight erythritol instead of Lakanto or Swerve. Otherwise you will have to play around with the amounts or use a more concentrated sweetener like liquid stevia or sucralose in addition to the allulose to bump up the sweetness.Since it is so expensive I save the allulose for recipes where it's sugar-like properties actually make a difference.

I just learned about this stuff...so happy!
I am trying to eliminate sugar of all kinds...sucrose, fructose, high fructose corn syrup from my diet as well as artificial sweeteners such as aspartame and sucralose. None do me any good but I was missing out on the sweet taste and this product gave it back. Stevia has a not so good aftertaste, allulose does not and you can cook with it just like regular sugar. Supposedly allulose is 70% as sweet as sucrose, ie, table sugar, which is fine with me. I will continue to read up on this stuff...mostly, something too good to be true is a lie, but so far this one is not. Good with keto or paleo or carnivore diets.
