I had the Canon HS-1200TS for 10 years and finally decided to purchase a new calculator as my wife kept taking mine off my desk and not putting it back. I liked the Canon design and decided to give this TS-1200TSC a go. I am glad that I did. It is very similar to my previous one and has the added benefit of a tilting adjustable display. It like the other one also is dual powered with a solar cell and built-in battery. This allows you to use the calculator in dim lighting conditions. It doesn't require much light to charge or run via the solar cells and a lamp or room light should give enough light output to use it. So far I have been enjoying this calculator. And it is staying put on my desk! 5 stars.

I use it all the time at work! It's nice to be able to see easily and the button size is user friendly, especially if you have a little bit larger fingers like me! There are functions that I don't use but if someone else needs them great.

Buttons respond well when being pushed. Cheaper calculators require me to keep starting over because of buttons not registering a push.

Sometimes for fun I use the multiply button!
