Unique gift idea
It's a very unique piece. The front and back are carved in Sanskrit. Nice because I don't have to worry which way I'm putting the necklace on. The left and right sides have a nice decorative design that gives it a finished look without taking away from the Sanskrit. I've been wearing it for nearly a month without tarnishing or any of that annoying "rub off" (where suddenly the silver pendant is turning into copper). The designs are all well carved into the pendant. I have no worries that it will eventually fade out and become indistinguishable. I think the adjustable chain is a nice feature. It makes it easier to layer multiple necklaces. The packaging is cute. The card the necklace was attached to is neat. I like that there was a matching gift card with it that the necklace card fit into nicely. It would make a lovely gift.
