BigAlex 4Tips Replacement for Folding Walking Cane(MG Alloy Base)

Great for traveling you can break it down inside the car and just have it sitting in a little place and when you go out to dinner or something, it’s great to break it down again and just sit on the chair with you or sit next to your booth 5 STARZ

Purchase for my brother, but one of the rubber feet fell off. I ordered a new base for him as he is four hours away from me and did not know where the base had fallen off. My only suggestion make sure the screws holding the rubber feet on the base are very tight.

I was at a loss of what to do when I lost 1 rubber feet on my Big Alex cane so I checked here, but this wasn't in stock. After checking in a few times during a month or so, and it still wasn't availble, I contemplated getting a new base, a new cane or trying other rubber tips that did not look right. But while searching for a solution, I never acted on any of the options I mentioned, and just used my cane with one missing rubber feet. I finally got so irritated that my cane wouldn't stand on it's own, I felt committed to finally making a decision on a solution. I get back on Amazon and, Lo and behold, it was back in stock! I immediately made the purchase and was so happy to get the correct part for my cane. I swapped out all 4 tips so it would wear evenly and kept my other 3 for backup. But if it hadn't been the end of the month and I was tight on $$$, I would have purched 2 more sets just for future need.

Bought this cane a few years ago and my Mom has been using it for the past year. She has worn out the pads on the bottom. I went online just looking for the replacement tips, but I found much more. I was able to replace the four tips, with the option of changing the cane to a single tip. Plus, it had the light switch button, which actually didn't fit correctly, but provided me with the incentive to change the batteries, so now the nifty light works again. Plus the handy wrist band with ID tag. I think it had that before, but it had since been lost. So I feel like this was a GREAT purchase!

I love the Big Alex Cane. It is sturdy, the base is very stable with 4 cap surfaces. The base seems to unscrew easy when used but it is a minor inconvenience. I bought this replacement parts for the base to have it in the future. The price was better than expected. The original base tips should last a long time, and having replacements already will make that transition easy and convenient.

Although I had the BigAlex canes for awhile, I had to go to the BeneCane due to the fact that the BigAlex handles broke off, making it dangerous to use on my stairs and a big fail as well. The BeneCane has two lights which helps me get up and down my spiral staircase much better, and has a longer lifespan. It is also lighter and less bulky. The BigAlex also had an issue with it's pivoting base wearing out, leaving black, messy, powdery material coming out of it.
