Huge, beautiful and full

Much nicer than I had expected. From a distance it looks real which is just what I'd hoped. I read the Q/A that said this isn't for outdoor use. But that's what I bought mine for and it's outside. However, it's in the shade on a covered porch area protected from wind and rain so only issue would be temperature changes. Hopefully it will be fine. As others mentioned the leaves do come off when working with the plant. Easy to put them back on the stem. This is not just an issue with this kale plant but all artificial plants and flowers. I was happy with the first kale and ordered a second that will also go outdoors in location protected from sun and elements. Hoping they last through the winter and will bring them in and put real flowers in these locations next spring.

I can't imagine what they used to make this or what they sprayed on it but BEWARE! It caused a MAJOR ASTHMA ATTACK the second I unwrapped the plastic! I work with dozens of faux flowers, berries, branches and greens every week to make wreaths and arrangements and NONE has ever provoked an asthma attack but this one did! I highly recommend you unwrap these faux cabbages OUTDOORS and wear a mask if you have respiratory issues. Fortunately I wore a mask and used these in my autumn window box displays so they will not cause any further issues but if you plan to use them indoors I would reconsider. After all, nobody knows what they're made of or what chemicals were used in making them and if they cause an asthma attack there must be something unhealthy in them.
