Daewoo RFS-26ABW French Door Bottom Mount Refrigerator 26 Cu. Ft. | White

First thing make sure you have a door wide enough for this behemoth seriously it’s bigger than I thought. However the doors come off without any problems so once we got them off it came through no problem. It’s whisper quiet and it can hold two gallons of milk in the door. I’m in love and can’t recommend it enough this is a good refrigerator.

Bought this fridge for less then a year and it started having problem already. The fridge stop working. All the food gone bad. Contact the customer service many time they said will send someone to check on it or will have full refund. But it been more than a month and we contact them again and get the same answer. But no one show up.

It doesn’t make ice Hardly at all if there’s a way that I could make it fill up a tray of ice that would be great but it hasn’t made a bucket of ice yet have on for two months rather than that I love it

Addendum to review below:It is now a year ago that I bot this unit, and have to report 3 significant defects -a) the central "mullion" (the vertical rotating piece attached to the left door, to insulate the opening between the two doors) often gets moved to the wrong position after opening the door, causing that left door to remain partly ajar when it is closed. Our second French door refrig/freezer does not have this problem. I believe the issue is the spring in this mullion, but am unsure.b) the temperature displays only the set-point, and not the internal temp!c) the 'door open' alarm turns off after some period, and the internal light also; if the mullion holds the left door ajar (as in "a" above) you will be uninformed of this urgent condition.Sad story. Otherwise, tho, a good purchase, tho now not 'great' or 'outstanding'Bot this Daewoo RFS-26ABW French door refrig, bottom freezer, 26 Cu Ft, white, almost exactly a month ago, and can report virtually complete satisfaction.Why choose this:a) For my money, French doors and bottom freezer are the only way to go: easy access to refrig contents, and freezer compartment where it belongs, at the lowest point and lowest temp in the room;b) Size: if you have the space, go for larger. The freezer section is relatively spacious;c) Open door alarms: unmistakable 4 ring then pause, and loud enough to be heard when the door is only cracked open, by a protruding product or a jam in the hinge;d) Lights illuminate both compartments well;e) Deli drawer, at the bottom, does not extend into the space outside the shelves above, so is not susceptible to damage from falling contents (the case with my other French-door refrig, a Kitchen-Aid);f) Leveling is easy with special wrench supplied, to insure doors close properly;g) Very quiet. I cannot measure the noise precisely, but believe it to be less than 40db;h) Temp indicators are easy to set and to read (tho I have not yet been able to judge their accuracy, or even whether they measure the actual temp rather than only the nominal setpoint);i) Temp inside the 2 compartments seems relatively uniform: no freezing of items in the refrig section, and no thawing in the freezer section;j) Color: you want white or metallic. Black absorbs maximum light and heat, a nutty choice;k) Efficiency: estimated annual energy use 685 KWH, better than average for this size;l) Price: this unit is a remarkable bargain.I have to add that I have not connected the water supply, so cannot comment on the ice-maker. And, perhaps the only disadvantage of this unit: no cold water outlet!Finally, I obviously cannot comment yet on durability/longevity, but Daewoo is a large, well-known company in Korea, so I would expect it to be similar to any other large appliance manufacturer.

It’s pretty dented when I got it. Delivery person was unhelpful. Asked me for help unloading... even though I’m 8 months pregnant.. left it in the driveway, would not help bring it into the house. Too much of a pain to send it back! Ridiculous. Don’t buy.

home Depot didnt have what the wife wanted neither did LOWes. Great as of 4/1/2021

Despite the bad reviews for the ice maker, I decided to go for it. I shouldn’t have. ice makes didn’t work. They replaced it, and it still doesn’t work. It maybe puts out 1 cup of ice per day. Bad purchase.
