This gorgeous beast of a swim cap is light enough that your head doesn't sweat and it is fluffy so you don't get the bald look. However, it does not protect your hair from water. I should have paid more attention. Anyway, I still wear it because it protects my hair color from sun fading all while looking like an Esther Williams goddess (and embarrassing my family!)

Cap should be more water resistant if it is advertised as a "swim" cap. But even if you just wanted something pretty to keep your hair in place it is still ineffective because the cap falls apart when handled. Several of the lace petals were loose in the package when it arrived and the more it was handled the more they fell off! Needs some MAJOR tweeking!

This is a beautiful swim hat.I love the style and I think it is very glamorous. It is definitely a stylish and pretty hat.it keeps my hair in place very well, and it is not waterproof but I don't care as I want It as a lovely accessory to my Pretty swimsuit. Everyone admires it,as It is more functional as A very fashionable item, not really a waterproof item.I am buying more in different colors as it is so elegant and stylish. Super cute. I took it on a cruise because I had recently completed Chemo and had no hair. The goal was to protect my scalp from sunburn and still look stylish. I got lots of compliments. Very happy with this product. It is made of cloth so if your goal is to protect your hair from chlorine it is probably not your best choice. It was perfect for me.

This is a cute hat to sit in the pool or Jacuzzi but not for submerging your hair it doesn’t have any plastic to keep your hair dry

Well this swim cap is AWESOME. It has lasted many washes and a summer of beach, pool, and lake visits.We get so many compliments on this. I keep it on her head to keep the sun off of her scalp. She wears it no problem all day.The swim cap has gone through washes and water experiences and even the dryer by accident a couple times. Still looks like new. Also haven’t lost any of the flowers.GREAT quality and very worth the price. I want to buy another color for her.

My daughter loves these! So far none of the flowers have come off and she has worn it in the pool several times. Super chic and vintage inspired. we love these for keeping her hair from getting tangled in the pool. This is not water proof at all. At best it will just keep your hair up and free from getting tangled but it will get wet. True to color.
