Power adapter works fine.
I am very happy with this product. It works great, as expected. When I plugged it into my mac book the orange light came on and then it turned green. I like this because I could use my old extension plug from the original adapter and it fit perfect, picture #2. The length is perfect. Quality of the wire seem good. One of the best features is that it does not get hot like my original one. I have had it plugged in all afternoon and evening and it is not even warm to the touch.

I ordered this thinking it would be a cheap 3rd party knockoff but would work. This is literally the exact apple charger. Very impressed at this price.

Quick delivery and it works great!
I have always used refurbished Macbook Pro's and the charging cord on my latest quit working after a lot of use. This one came in 2 days, works perfectly to date, and is a direct replacement for the original. I've used it about 3 weeks now. And just like car replacement parts, it's quite a bit less expensive than the original manufacturer's product. A definite 5 on this one

It does work with MacBook Pro 17 inch Retina display bought in 2011
Packaging was a bit tiresome and difficult to remove but it is much lighter than the one it is replacing. The cord is far shorter than the original but the weight being so much less could make up for the length.
