Lungs: All about Our Respiratory System and More!

This is way too graphic for my tastes. The whole series is. If you cringe at medical shows, this series is definately not for you or your kids. However, if you don't mind real pictures of real bodies sliced and diced, it is a really good book. My daughter (who LOVED "Bodies: The Exhibit") has turned this into a favorite bedtime book. Yuck!

I purchased several of these for my classroom library. My students enjoy them and I would definitely purchase again!

I am a 5th grade teacher and always looking for books to enrich my curriculum. The Seymour Simon books fit the bill. They are educational, but more importantly, the pictures really grab the student's interest. I'd tell other teachers that this is the book for you. Parents, this is a great book for a home library, too!

This is a good book with great pictures and simple words to explain the function of the lungs. I learned a lot from this book and my fifth grade class got very excited about what they learned in this book.
