Great design and valves - nice clean installation
I had not seen one of these quick connects with integrated valve and receptacle cover before. This design works great, and the included 1/2-inch male connector worked well for my set-up with an added ball valve that I plumbed inline to my hose from the grill. The brass fittings and connector were stout enough after attached to the 1/2-inch black pipe that they didn't need any support. The stainless steel housing slipped behind the valve and fittings and attached to the brick wall to conceal the fittings. I just used masonry fasteners, but the included fasteners they provided with standoffs were very good too.One reviewer mentioned sharp edges on the stampings. I only found one edge on the horizontal top of the cover with a burr, so I ran emery cloth/scotch-brite over all the edges just to clean everything up. I had no trouble drilling extra holes or using a regular file to file more clearance to an edge of the first brass fitting. The cover does open 135 degrees, and it even stays up on its own. Very handy when you make the gas connection. For this 1/2-inch size, the clearance for my finger and thumb to pull back the collar was fine. I made sure the cover was not biased too much left. It would have been better to bias the cover to the left, so that the valve handle leave the cover door slightly ajar. The tapered cover did not close all the way because cover stopped at the valve handle. Probably this one size stamping is used for 3/8, 1/2, and 3/4-nch designs, and the bigger ones barely fit.I added that big black-handled ball valve to the included male fitting that you see in the pictures. That way my 24-foot PVC line to the grill doesn't need priming every time I hook up the grill (mine goes back in the garage each evening). I added a 2-1/2 inch brass nipple so that it extends out of the box with the cover closed when using.I'm really happy with how the installation turned out. I'm glad it is all CSA certified for Canada (probably better than our UL certs in US for gas line). It is better than a pipe and connector that sticks straight out of the wall, possibly getting bonked by something. It is functional and gives the connection a nice clean look on the side of my house.

Excellent
Excellent BBQ 🔥 Hookup.. Tidy. Neat and it's not exposed to the elements or someone tampering with.. And it looks good overall and just works.. Also support was very knowledgeable when I called also so that 💯 was a blessing as well. Using a Natural Gas outside is great and having this hookup is even better.

Incredibly overpriced but does exactly what it should
If you know anything about putting together gas lines, you can easily piece this thing together for about 1/10 of the cost on here (maybe even less). However, it is a quality product. The stainless steel cover is probably the only thing you can't buy from your local hardware store.

Nice looking and sturdy, but expensive for what you get
Pros: professional looking stainless steel housing. The gas fittings seem to be of good quality. So far it has not leaked or created a Hindenburg type situation.Cons:Installation instructions were very minimal and not easy to follow. It would have been useful to have detailed mounting information for each type of siding (stucco, vinyl, wood, masonry, etc.). It wasn't clear to me whether they wanted the user to run the gas pipe through the wall void or surface-mount it, but providing guidance on all common options would have been better than what they did.The stainless steel box has sharp edges and I've cut myself on it a few times. Also, it flops down on top of your hand while you're trying to operate the quick disconnect, which isn't awesome. The way the rubber-padded pipe support is supposed to attach to the box and wall is unclear. I kind of improvised it, and hoped for the best. This box was shockingly expensive. Compare to, say, a NEMA 3R electrical box which you can buy for $30 (granted, it's not stainless).

Looks great!
Love the look and wanted an easy access valve to shut the gas off when grill not in use. I Attached the brass 90 that came with kit and bought a 18" 1/2 pipe to get me through the block wall. I plan to use a small whip to connect from pipe and tee into my dryer gas line. Saw a comment about connections not lining up, I would have to disagree. Connections line up, quick connect slides easy and door closes well.

BBQ gas outlet
Installed with copper piping I like the gas shutoff feature and the male insert that can be installed on the gas appliance hose

Good design.
Perfect for my stand-by generator. No more buying and storing gasoline.
