This is all you need to get your whisper flow pool pump whispering again this simple kit contains everything you’ll need (except silicone grease, and silicone sealant) to stop a leaking or whiniing bearing and seal. I used an online video as a tutorial even though I’ve done this three times over the past 10 years I keep forgetting the exact procedure but it’s relatively straightforward find a good video that goes through the process jot down some notes on a piece of paper throw your tools in a bucket and head out to the pool pad. You can do it!

These seals held up! Make sure to follow install instructions.

Seals fit my 2013 mfg dated WFE-8 pump. No more leaks!

I have an older whisper flo Wf-28 pool pump. everything fit perfectly. I used a little silicon on the pump shaft seals and lube on the rubber gaskets. I also used a 1 inch pvc coupler to help tap in the pump shaft seal. You don't want to touch that gasket and get it oily from your fingers. Other than that easy fix so long as you note how things were in place before removing them...no leaks in 3 days running. for $21 is worth a shot to fix.

This kit at the pool store was significantly higher and just the same quality. I only needed the pump seal but was glad to get the other gaskets since I was taking it all apart anyway and some were more corroded than I thought. It's not a hard job if you are comfortable with DIY, several useful videos on Youtube make it easier.

Great product and price- all you need to fix that irritating little leak in the pump case (or, if you’re putting in a new motor). There are some important tips to do this repair- most important is pay attention to the torque requirements on all the bolts (hint- it’s inch-pounds), add pool silicone lube where you’re supposed to and NOT where you’re not. Also, consider a large rubber strap wrench (Harbor Freight) to get the impeller off the shaft so you don’t break it. And, watch YouTube videos for correct size of. PVC pipe to knock in seal (should be 1” coupler I think) and more do’s and don’ts. All together- not a terribly difficult install at a fair price.
