I had a tear in my new polyester coat and saw these patches on sale. However, there was no indication as to whether they were suitable for polyester. I asked question on the Amazon site and one replied saying that they are OK on polyester (why do people sometimes respond to questions with 'I don't know'?). So I ordered them. Disappointingly there is no instruction or information in the package so I went ahead and cut out a small circle, laid it on the tear, and gently, with a hot iron, went over it. I was careful not to contact the rest of the coat with the hot iron. After some careful ironing I stopped and let it cool. So far the patch has stayed in place and all looks good. The colour match isn't perfect but I can live with that.My only other negative point is that I thought the price was a touch on the high side.

These patches are brilliant, I had to make a maths themed hoodie for my daughter. Easy to cut out and easy to iron on without having to stitch.She loves that she is the only one with this hoodie and still wears it, all the shapes and numbers are firmly in place still. Highly recommend for making your garments personalised.

Bought these to make a book day costume. Size was great, colours brilliant. For the most part very very easy to iron on to the clothes. Use a medium heat, even on that some did melt away a bit. Some did need re-ironing as they came away. With this I would purchase again and recommend .

Used regularly as when you have a dog there is always a small tag or tear to be repaired

I found with the two patches that I've used the adhesion doesn't go right to the edge thereby making the patch easy to pull off the material it's been ironed onto. The areas that have been glued do stick very well, just wish there wasn't a margin around the patch that didn't stick!
