Sechebase, 0.5 ounce, 0.5 Fl Oz

I bought this base along with the seche vite top coat. The reason I bought it was because I tried to remove my acrylic nails on my own but the acetone I was using wasn't strong enough. This meant sitting for hours with my nails soaking and having little progress. I becoming extremely impatient so I ended up prying the acrylic nails off. This cause a lot of breakage and really deep, ugly, and uneven ridges. I expected this product to make the unsightly ridges disappear and it did exactly that. With two coats of this, two coats of my nail polish and one coat of the seche vite top coat, my nails are now really smooth and look like a professional manicure! This along with the seche vite top coat are perfect and gave me really beautiful results. I will be repurchasing this when I run out.

This is not sheer, it is opaque. Why they would ask to rate for sheerness in a basecoat is beyond me.Excellent product. Goes on easily and creates a smooth surface;.

I've had this base coat now for about 3 - 4 months. I have tried this base coat with other Seche top coats and products. I have tried it using cheap l.a. colors nail polish. I have tried it with sinful colors nail polish, I have tried it with revlon nail polish, (all using Seche top coats.)It just isn't for me.PROS: ...It's...from seche?CONS:No polish painted over it will dry. One hour? Polish still creases/dents/fingerprints. Two? Same. Three? Same. One time I literally wasted a very good day off sitting and doing NOTHING for EIGHT. HOURS. with the base coat and polish on before testing. Guess what? Not fully dry. Something about this base coat just refuses to work with any polish. It SEEMS dried, but the moment I put a color polish on, the polish never dries.Goopy and thick. Despite trying every which way but upside down and sideways with polish painting techniques, the formula from this bottle goes on bumpy, clotty, thick and goopy. I understand it needs to be some what thick for ridge filling....But...this polish CREATED ridges.RECOMMEND?No. Seche's top coats are AMAZING. This? Not-so-much. I didn't even include pictures because my nails turned out so bad each time I don't want to subject anyone else to seeing them.

I use this base in combination with Seche top coat - it creates glossy shiny polished nails at home, and saves me a lot of money. The top coat really helps with toe nails making them so smooth and neat looking - just as you get in a professional nail place. It also helps to keeping your nail polish on longer. I really like Seche products and highly recommend them.

My nails have strong vertical ridges and buffing leaves them so thin and fragile as they grow out. The ridges are highly visible through some of my favorite polishes and nail wraps. I tried it under one of my favorite pale pink polishes and it worked great! After just one coat of the pink I couldn't see the ridges. It doesn't seem to interfere with the polish sticking to my nails so far; I haven't noticed chipping any more than this polish would chip on it's own.

Heads up, this is not extra sheer or clear like other ridge fillers. It’s more like a 70% transparent white, so one coat makes your nails look sheer white. Two coats would just look white. I had planned to use this beneath a sheer nude polish but can’t, because the white will show through.

I bought this base coat on accident, I thought I was getting the clear base coat, so when this arrived I double checked my order and sure enough, got this one instead of the other. I figured since it was Seche, I'd give it a shot, it was my fault I got the wrong base coat and not the company, no sense in going through the process of a refund/return.The first thing I noticed is the fact that this is a milky white base coat and it applies like a milky white polish, you get streaks in your application no matter how much you work the polish and the reason why it lost a star with me. It does dry pretty fast and if you honestly need a flawless application, you can apply a second coat to get it but I can tell you, the streaks do not translate into your color layer if you're applying a one coat.This is a ridge filling base coat, so this will be good for anyone that has deep ridges in their nails or maybe surface flaws that needs to be covered. It does dry white, I actually think this is a bonus for the simple fact that if you are applying pastels or even neons, a second coat of this will give you the white base needed to make those colors pop, so you won't need to use regular white with those types of polish.Overall, this isn't a bad base to get. I do intend on getting the clear base next month, but I won't have any problems using this one and will set it off to the side to use with my neons and pastels. If you need a good ridge filler, this one will absolutely get it done. For an accident, I'm pretty happy with it!

Okay this top coat is amazing. It's so easy to use and you can use it over the wet paint so after you do your nails put this top coat on while your nails are still wet. Also get the base coat. I love you using this stuff.
