This must be the third set of these socks I've ordered, and they're just as cute and useful as the first. For 'little girl' style ruffled socks, the lace-cuffed ones are hard to beat, and the plain ones can be worn cuffed in a more every-day or sporty fashion, or pull up beautifully to make knee-highs for 1940's outfits or all sort of other occasions. They fit great, aren't too thick to fit in most of the 18 inch doll shoes we have, and so long as you keep them away from Velcro, they last quite nicely (don't unravel.) They are polyester, though, not cotton, I don't know if that gets mentioned anywhere, soft and stretchy. Not your typical tough socks to go with sneakers, if that's the style you're looking for. These are more dressy, and more dainty (sorry about the outmoded vocabulary.)

This will be a holiday gift for a little girl who is a "fashionista" when it comes to doll clothes and accessories. The socks appear to be pretty sturdy and should survive being put on and taken off for some time. My guess they are more suitable for the play activities of an older child (5 or older). They look nice and realistic and add that finishing touch to a doll outfit. Best price and selection for these items was found on Amazon.

I bought these stocking for my 6 year old and 9 year old daughters. They each have nice 18 inch Gotz dolls that are very similiar, but better quality than American Girl dolls. The stockings fit well and go nicely under dress shoes, tennis shoes and ice skates. My daughters love to play with stocking that fit well and are easy to get on and off.

Put the plain socks on the boy doll and the ruffled pair on the girl doll. So cute!

These sox would better fit a 12" doll. Thank goodness they could be stretched to fit a larger sized doll.
