If you like bagels in the morning and smear cream cheese on them, where do you keep the cream cheese? Uncovered it will dry out and spoil sooner. This is the only dish I found that seems perfect for holding an 8 oz brick of cream cheese or its lower fat cousin "neufchatel cheese". (see pictures) Thanks to those who measured the inside of their dish and told me the dimensions.

It's a great simple dish and it's great that it came with a spreader BUT once you have butter in the dish there is nowhere to put the spreader except next to it on the counter or on top of the dish so it's not really that helpful. There's just no room inside for both.

This was wider than expected but I really like it! Could also be used for a brick of cream cheese!
