Olympus Wave Slide

I was a little skeptical of purchasing a slide on Amazon but was pleasantly surprised! This slide is good quality, thick plastic and has held up great! It was about 1/2 the price as other options so worth the money. The kids love sliding down and the slight bump allows for some more giggles. I tried it myself and it was firm, fast, and held up to continued use by me as well. Great addition to the playset! Instructions are easy to follow. We mounted ours on a 5ft deck. Angle was perfect.

Overall very happy with the price, sturdiness, ease to assemble, and quality. Our tree house is 5’4” so the slide is VERY steep and fast, but 6 & 4 year old absolutely love it. Screws/nuts/bolts came scattered all inside the box but shockingly were all accounted for. As other mentioned, the holes to attach the 2 parts together are slightly misaligned. Tip: place all the screws in the holes first, then tighten one by one. Once we did this it was a breeze. You need a drill/bit because the top of the slide does not have holes. You also need large bolts to attach the slide to your platform (doesn’t come with these).

Love just about everything about the slide. It’s solid and even strong enough for 200lb me to not break it. My kids love it. Once assembled, it installed to the swingset quickly. My only negative input is as follows: Connecting the two pieces is somewhat difficult; the holes did not align perfectly and I had to drill them a bit larger. There are no pre-drilled holes at the top or the base. No mounting hardware is included.

Love this slide. I put it together while my husband was at work. I did drill a couple holes that didnt line up well enough. Just leave the bolts half tight and get some on each side. Used a screwdriver to help hold things in place.

This slide was a great addition to the swing set we built. It is a vibrant blue color that looks awesome. It was easy to put together and has held up so well against so many weather elements.

The slide is great once assembled. It held me and my 2 year old daughter at the same time. The assembly wasn’t bad if you took your time. I had to redrill two holes to get them to align. My only complaint the is the size. The pictures show 21” wide. This slide is 22.5” to 23” inches wide. This caused significant rework to make it work.

It’s a wide slide which replaced our very skinny 10’. It is a little shorter (4”) than what we had, just added a 4x4 to the deck and everything is fine. Yes the holes are a pain. It’s mass produced molded plastic that gets close. Just get your drill and rout the holes a little. It’s literally an extra 5 minutes out of your life and makes the build extremely easy. Many have stated the deck lip is off, just use wide head pan head lags and you will be fine. The lip will mold over time. If you want it exact, by the slide and build the whole structure around it. Pointless, but it may make sense to someone. Overall very happy. I am using it as a water slide from the play house deck to the pool. I dropped pipe and a nozzle from the top of the play set directly onto the slide. I drilled a 3/8" hole in the slide and flush mounted some funny pipe and secured to the deck.

This was a great purchase. We built my kids a treehouse an this was the finishing touch. They love the slide. It comes in 2 parts so their is some assembly but it’s well worth it! It seems very sturdy. The weight limit says 200 but I wouldn’t use if you are over 150. The item came on time. Buy it you won’t be disappointed!
