14k REAL Yellow OR White OR Rose/Pink Gold Solid 1.5mm Flat Open wheat Chain Necklace with Lobster Claw Clasp

UPDATE: Because I was so happy with the first chain I purchased, I've now bought a second one in yellow gold, to hang my gold charms. One very important PLUS for me is that both of these pendants/charms used to constantly spin, or turn on their old, thin chains. They would always end up hanging backwards, which drove me crazy. With this chain, both of these pendants now always face forward as they should, no matter how much I swing my neck around. YAY! I saw mixed reviews for this chain (mostly very good) and thought I'd share my opinion/experience. I'm very happy with it. I had bought this rose gold pendant, that came with the flimsiest, thinnest, too-short (16") chain, that hung too high on my throat. I wanted a nicer chain, in 18" length (which hangs just above most necklines I wear). A couple people thought this chain is too thin/flimsy. I disagree! In my opinion, when wearing a chain ALONE, you may want a heavy chain, but with a pendant , the pendant should be the STAR of the show. The chain should be substantial enough to look 'nice' against your neck, and hold the pendant securely, but should let the pendant/stone stand out, not overpower it. I think I learned this as I got older ;) It looks very pretty, simple and elegant, but not 'plain', and has a bit of sparkle. The clasp is not heavy-duty, but is pretty standard to almost every other chain I've ever had, and I feel it's secure. Get it - you will probably be very happy with it, especially for the price, which I thought was very reasonable. I tried to take closeup photos showing the true color, and link style. I bought this to replace a box chain necklace that was tarnished and broke. This chain is more substantial than the box chain and has way more sparkle. It’s beautiful and I love it. I like the thinner chain size - I saw some people don’t. Also I saw some people confuse the manufacturer stamp as a grading stamp. The tag on the clasp is the manufacturer’s mark - not the chain gold type.

My previous chain necklace broke so I purchased this one. It is a bit on the thin side so make sure you are ok with it. I purchased the 24'' so it does run a bit long. Make sure you pay attention to that as well before buying it. As far as clasp i never take it off so no issues on that end. Outside of that the chain itself does look good and has been sturdy. I am happy with the purchase.

Absolutely perfect for my badge charm! I ordered in 16" so that it sits high enough up to be seen with most tops wear! I actually have started to sleep with it on and no knots or kinking in the links. The 1.5mm width is perfect balance so as not to overpower the beauty of the badge charm.My only small complaint is the size of the o-ring to connect is extremely small and sometimes I struggle to put on.I plan to buy another in a longer length in the near future.EDITED 1/21/2023: It’s 5-years later and this chain is STILL in tack and I’m currently wearing it. My initial review is the same, but since this popped up letting me know how many people voted it up I decided i should give it 5-stars and add a new photo of the same chain again.

This is exactly what I had hoped it would be and more! Every aspect from quality, weight, sturdiness it is Perfect. I would highly recommend this necklace to anyone looking for quality and beauty.

The clasp and findings are not marked 14k in any way, and have been put on the chain but not secured with a weld or solder. The clasp is used and scratched up. The links on the chain look coated. I requested a return slip for this 18" yellow chain with a lobster claw clasp.I requested a return on 4/17/23 and received an e-mail stating that the return was approved and that I would receive a mailing label and instructions within five days. It has now been six days and I have received nothing. Do not buy from this vendor.

Very pretty necklace but the clasp came loose in less then 5 months.

This necklace is perfect. It is danty but stronger than most. Great price too

I ordered this chain a second time in a shorter length because I really liked the first one I received. It was 18 inches. It was as described and had a nice sparkle to it. The second one I received (16 inch length) is a different chain. It is a dull grey colour and has no sparkle. It is thicker but feels and looks cheaper.
