fobus r.h. evolution paddle holster
received my fobus evolution holster today and immediately was pleased with the quality and ease of draw. after 10-15 draws I figured out the right position for my beretta px4 storm and worked on release. it is smooth and doesn't hang up once you figure out the mechanics. after numerous pulls only the gun came out. I have several other holsters and this is by far the best. it still doesn't conceal well with the Beretta but it isn't supposed to and in my state of Ga open carry is allowed and most folks are used to seeing armed citizens. Overall Im very pleased with this device and would recommend it for the px4 storm owner. downside, you must wear a belt that is solid as just inside the pants makes for sloppy handling and the fobus will pull out on the draw.

perfect fit holster
This holster by fobus is by far one of the best to use for my Px4 Storm sc. The paddle has excellent adjustable retention and the rotating paddle allows me to where this holster with any clothing in any position for any occasion. The only problem is the gun itself is a bit bulky for a paddle holster to be used as a concealed carry but I found it to be quick to put on and does not print to bad using it ia a crossdraw position or small of back position. I am a heavy set guy, but i don't where bulky clothing so where this holster in the sunshine state isn't an issue. The bulge does not concern me when it comes to safety. As long as it is concealed the holster isn't a problem and my draw is a lot quicker and smooth using this holster versus a IWB holster. Some reviews state that it took about a month for shipping but Amazon had it to me in 3-5 business days. Definitely a more sturdy holster over the beretta holster specifically designed for this gun. I gave this product four stars because i wish it had more of a high ride to it like fobus has for the glock.

Do NOT buy this for an FNX pistol.
Fobus makes good holsters. I own several of the double mag pouches that I use for competitive shooting. The build quality of the holster is good. The only criticism that I have of the build/quality/design of the holster is that the paddle could be a bit wider and made of a bit thicker plastic for my taste. It's not kydex, but for a range holster at this price point, it's fine. However, the problem that I have is that this particular holster is built for a Beretta Storm. It would be great if I owned a Beretta Storm. it is NOT great for the FN FNX that I bought it for and that the holster is advertised to fit.Pros: It will accept a FNX pistol with no problems.Cons: You will have to throw the whole gun at whatever you're trying to shoot and hope that you do some damage, because you will never get the pistol back out of the holster once it's in there. Not even with the retention screw backed totally out.It was sug when I test fit it, but I figured that I would try it on and try to draw and see if it was still as tight. I fiddled with it for 30 minutes or so before I finally gave up. I could draw it from the holster maybe 25% of the time. The other 75%, the holster would yank free from my pants before the gun would draw from the holster. I think it's a 2 part problem between the trigger guard-based retention lug and the relatively small hook that's meant to engage a belt.Either way, I sent it back today. I've heard XD holsters will fit the he FN, so I'll try that at the range and see how it goes.

Focus Roto Evolution Series RH Paddle Holster PX4 Storm Compact
This is a great holster. Looks great and most important it functions great. My compact PX4 Storm fits perfectly and it has enough compression to hold the weapon safely. I do wish it had a trigger lock push button release. That would make make it perfect. But I knew it didn't have that option when I purchased it and I will still give it 5 stars. I would recommend.

Great Buy
I've been test fitting belt and paddle holsters for my PX4 Compact .40 for at least 6 months without finding anything that satisified my needs for concealment, comfort, quick on/off,with good retention and easy re-holster without spending an arm and a leg($65 avg.). The Fobus Roto does all that and allows for cant (angle) adjustment for strong side carry. This is my third Fobus and I have NEVER had a problem with any of them..Waiting for delivery of my double mag pouch now..For under $30 ($26!)and free delivery,Amazon can't be beat! You just need to be careful to insure you're getting ACTUAL factory gear and not knock offs, though, on a tight budget, some of them are quite honestly just as good!!Thank you Amazon!!

Great Px4 Storm paddle holster but not best for concealed carry
I bought and really like this holster for my Px4 Storm Compact, but it's for the range or for time with heavy over garments. The rotation feature adds to its width. Also, as a paddle holster, it's not as secure as one with belt loops. With paddle holsters, you may occasionally draw your weapon only to find the holster still attached. :>) That said, paddle holsters are normally more convenient to put on and take off than other variations.

One design flaw but otherwise good.
I'd rate it higher if it worked straight out of the box. I read another review prior to buying this holster which talked about the pistol hanging up on every other draw. I found that it was snagging as well. This is a design flaw of the retention 'knob' shape that the trigger guard passes by. The bottom side of this knob should have a smoother transition into the main holster body. It's too sharp which allows the trigger guard to snag on the edge. You can adjust your draw slightly by adding a small amount of torsion: push the butt/magazine base inwards towards your body when drawing. Since the holster is molded plastic, I used a small bent round file to smooth out the bottom of the 'knob'. Now I can draw normally without snags. This is with respect to an Beretta 92A1 (Rail and round trigger guard), and a Girsan MC R 40 which is similar to the Vertec (Rail and flat-front trigger guard). The other aspects of this holster are good, the roto-paddle is adjustable, retention adjustment is simple, the holster stays in place well, and overall it's functional and simple.

Was able to make modifications to make that less annoying.
Works well for my PX4 Storm. Tension adjustment screw kept coming loose. Was able to make modifications to make that less annoying.
