Our Italian class uses this book and I love it! I am not a natural language learner, and have always struggled, but I have made great progress with this book! It would not be for complete beginners learning from scratch at home as it is completely in Italian, but having started with a little bit of Italian, it is easy to check unknown words in a dictionary. I have just started the next level with book 2 and hope to work my way through the series.
