Baby Animals Spots & Stripes

I wanted a book with realistic black n white animals and was really looking forward to having the last page focus on ethnic diversity. When I read the book, I absolutely loved how detailed and beautiful the animals were. However, I felt the final pages with the two children should have been done in that same back n white gorgeous detail. That last page just left much more to be desired especially given how great the rest of the book was... and because that page was on diversity which is so important to our family.

I wanted to like this, but the last pages of her black and white books I do not care for, this one in particular. While I think the last pages of this might have made sense in her last book, it seemed incredibly forced in this one since human babies have neither spots nor stripes. I ordered this before I found out about the last page, I probably would not have bought it if I knew that.Also the last pages of both books are completely uninteresting to my baby, and apparently others as well.When she first saw these she was super interested and engaged, but is more interested in repeated use of the Erin Balzer black and white baby books.These have the best art of any black and white baby book. However the last pages art is not as good.

This is a great little book for infants. Beautiful drawn pictures of animals, quality art. Nice high contract pages. Yes, there's only 10 pages, but this is for babies.. works great for the length of their attention span. My 2 month old looks intently at the pages and really enjoys it.

I bought this book when my daughter was too young for it, but sometime after the 2 month mark she started to appreciate it. It’s cute. I am satisfied with my purchase.

My has been really interested in this book from the very beginning. She's 3 months old and still enjoys looking at the pictures. We describe the animals and make up stories about them and I feel like we're starting her off right for her early literacy skills.

Very cute black and white book for babies. We bought this when my son was 4 weeks and he loved the colors and the animals. This is hard backed and very nice quality so it should last through multiple infants.

A perfect first book for infants just discovering contrast. Large, bold, detailed drawing are sure to create interest. The animals portrayed are just darling.

Great for newborns and young babies.
