SiriusXM SXDV3 Satellite Radio Vehicle Mounting Kit with Dock and Charging Cable (Black)

This SiriusXM kit is exactly what i needed to replace the broken antenna & speaker cords I had bought years ago to use my SiriusXM in my car.

It’s everything I needed, my truck broke down and instead of pulling my truck apart to get my dock out I just put my receiver in the new dock and I had my music back with little effort. I can NOT tolerate terrestrial radio after listening to satellite for the past 20 plus years, thank you

I did return this item. Overall, it was fine and I did try to use it in my car. I purchased a Onyx Plus radio home kit and I was hoping to use this car kit for my little car. I have limited space in my car and found the kit and its item difficult to use. Part of the problem is due to the poor design for the front driver, center console, and front passenger section of my small car. My car does not have a descent cupholder/center console section for safely securing my SiriusXM Onyx Plus radio with the docking apparatus and all the connections. The connection with the antennae and the dock is very tight with an extended plastic corner extending outward. This makes pulling the antennae connection out difficult. If you can set up Onyx Plus radio-dock and the connections together and just keep it in place, I think the car kit is a great option. For my little car I have to assemble and dissemble the entire system often, so this set-up is not practical for me. If you have a roomier front-driver front-passenger cabin I think this is good money-saving alternative to use your SiriusXM home kit radio in the car.

Easy to work with. I did not do a permanent installation. I purchased it to use in my try k and work truck when put of town. Often on the road I can not reliably get a radio station to come in that I would like to listen to or understand. I can move the set up place the antenna on the dash plug everything in and have programming that I want to listen to while out driving to remote locations for work or fun.

Everything works as it should easy install

Very Cumbersome to use in a car. Sometimes the sound just skips and other times it just isn't worth it. I might get a small Bluetooth speaker and use it with a phone app and will be prolly better.

As advertised and arrived quicker than expected.
