Q: There is no simple way to make 3/4 of a carafe, or really any amount between half carafe and full. Has anyone found a good way to do this?

This machine has 6 size settings, Cup, XL Cup, Travel, XL Multi-Serve, Half Carafe, and Full Carafe.

Q: Does this do cold brew?

There is a cold brew feature. However, the brewed coffee is hot and the amount of hot coffee is reduced to account for the water that will occur when you pour your coffee over ice. I bought this specially for this feature.

Q: How can I buy a 50 oz stainless carafe to go with my ninja 301

We do not recommend using the thermal carafe on the glass carafe version. The warming plate will damage the thermal carafe.

Q: Is it programmable and does it have auto shut off?

It has a 2-hour shutoff, it automatically turns off the warming plate two hours after you brew coffee.It also has "Pre-Heat". After plugging in and turning on your brewer by pressing the Power button, allow 3 minutes for your brewer to pre-heat. When plugged in, the Ninja Coffee Bar System will stay pre-heated for 72 hours unless you turn the brewer off by pressing the Power button.This is a great coffee machine. You won't be disappointed.
