I have a set of lights from the 70s that my dad adapted to fit in the porch light - when he passed 5 years ago I inherited them and have used them every year and when they come on as I walk up my drive it reminds me of him. Last year one bulb failed and the line continued but I knew if one more bulb went then that would be it, no more lights. I tried everywhere to get spare bulbs to no avail but this year I tried amazon and hooray I found spare bulbs that are just right and so I have a full string now and spares should I need them. So thank you for making my Christmas.

These are excellent bulbs for "old fashioned" bulbs for Christmas Tree Lights and internal decoration. The modern LED lights have a lot going for them but haven't got the warmth or colour of these lights. Spare bulbs for lighting sets are becoming increasingly rare, so have you have these light bulbs - buy now before they all disappear!

One bulb was smashed on delivery. When I used the unsmashed bulbs as a replacement the whole set of lights kept blowing the fuse in the plug. In the end I binned the lot in the interest of safety.
