I purchased this product in a 24’ length and although it arrived in 3, 8’ sections, it came in a straight box. I applied it to the edge of the dock and it looks fine so I ordered three additional 16 foot sections. These arrived in coils and are impossible to straighten. Worse they won’t soften enough to pry the material open to lay onto the edge. The first photo shows a cross section of the remaining piece of the first order and one of the three sections that arrived in a coil. They do not soften even after three days and 95+ temps. Super frustrating. Have been trying to screw them in every few inches and it is impossible. I have no idea how I can recoil and box this crap to return it.

Easy install and can take the abuse of water sports!

As pointed out by others; this edging does not easily adjust to the form of the dock.Try a HOT day, lay it out in the sun; use a rubber mallet.A one person job, with patience and commitment.Final outcome aok.

When installed looks nice and should serve us well. There is a big problem in that sentence, "when installed". Do not under estimate the difficulty in putting this on a piece of wood. The material is really stiff and not pliable. What was thought would be an easy, slam dunk install, turned into a two man pain in the keester. If the shorter leg was shipped at 90°, this would not be an issue. We fought this product by the inches to get the shorter leg to 90°. One guy screwing and the other struggling to pull the leg out. I guess if you are just putting up a bit maybe. I want to like it. Made locally (Canada), looks nice, reasonable cost. But I really can't recommend it either.

It took 4 people 4 hrs of work and a HEAT GUN SET ON MAX TEMP to get this dam*** thing installed. Drilling each new screw hole/inserting and driving in bespoke SS wide headed screws for this application took time and heavy use of the heat gun on either side of the length to be installed. Avoid this product; there have to be better alternatives!

The top edge is folded down to ship. Impossible to straighten out to attach to the top to the dock. Total waste of money.

Tricky but efficient

It was easy to mount on my dock and protects our pontoon boat.

Good luck bending the small lip around the top of the dock. I even used a heat gun to soften it up to get it to open up. Terrible product. Save your money
