Vibram FiveFingers Women's V-Soul Slipper

I guess Amazon have the sizing a little off for UK sizes. After reading reviews I looked at the EU size and went for one above my usual size, they are a perfect fit!The ankle strap is on the short side, so a lot of velcro is on show when fastened, if you have a high instep you might find they won't be able to fasten.Having worn barefoot shoes for a few years now, I have found the transition to be pretty easy. I love the ability to wiggle my toes, inside my shoes! These are so flexible, soft and light!

I always find buying shoes on Amazon hard. You order your size and it really is luck of the draw if Amazon send the right size. I ordered a UK size 5. I’m a 4.5/5 so having read the reviews decided 5 would be best. I was sent me an EU 36 no mention on the box of UK Size. But, I believe it is a UK size 3. I ordered another pair, a size 5.5 this time and received an even smaller size, I got an EU 35! I’m now trying again for the 4th time to get a size 4.5/5. We will see.Update: I ordered a size 6-6.5 in the black and I received a UK size 5/EU 38, finally. 6th time lucky! I think the problem is there’s no UK size on the box.The shoe itself does look nice. I can see the benefit of the shoe for functional training. They feel lightweight and the sloes are grippy and durable. First impression is that they look robust.I have tried the nude and silver colour too. The nude was my preference. As it is was exactly that a nice nude colour.If you can get your size these would be great all round function fitness shoes. I would have rated 5* if I didn’t have to return 5 prior orders to get my size.I think it would be best to purchase direct from Vibram if you know your size.

The shoe is light and very flexible, akin to a glove. Unfortunately, given the shape of my feet, my big toes felt cramped whilst my other toes had plenty of space to wiggle. I reluctantly returned the item whilst still hoping to find a half size above.

Update. Returned to amazon over 1 month ago. Still not received refund. Unable to contact amazon because no customer service link. Amazon wants your money but does not want to provide a service.Be very careful with these shoes. I'm a long time fivefingers user and fancied a pair to use in the house. These looked great. I'm a 6.5 normally so ordered accordingly. I was sent a 39. These were tiny on me. The strap wouldn't even fit through the loop much less fold back to fasten. I think they are faulty and/or sizing is way off. Wouldn't fit my smaller footed daughter either. I'm not sure how the strap would fit over any human instep. Really disappointed so much so i'm not going to try a larger size, i doubt it would make much difference to the strap length. My other observation was that the box arrived completely mashed. I'm not sure this was the first outing for this pair. I suspect it is not the first time these have been returned.

Unfortunately strap to secure the shoe is too short, i had 1 cm to secure the velcro onto which didn't give me confidence it wouldn't ping off in middle of pilates. Have had to return.

I bought this kind of shoes, for the first time, to try to prevent my hallux valugus getting worst.They are very beautiful and well done, with very cool details. They seems very comfortable and good for my purpose, even if I didn't try them for long time yet. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 just because, the "pocket' for the fingers are quite shorter then my actual fingers, but probably my feet are not very standard!I strongly reccomend to buy at least a size up than your usual one (if not even two in case you would like to wear socks) and to follow the size chart suggested by the manifacturer, measuring both the lenghts of your feet first.

I ordered these in April, only just had to chance to try them this week and they are smaller than my other pair of Vibram 5 fingers despite both being size 37. And now they've timed out of being able to be returned. Not impressed.
