Thule Atmos X3, Taie3139, for The iPad Air 2 (3202990)

Great case. Even though it's not a smart case I really like this. I just need to figure out a way to make it a smart case.Apple calls cases that interact with the iPad to shut the screen off a 'smart case'. Smart cases have magnets strategically placed to allow the iPad to turn off when the cover is closed. This does not, so if you're not plugged in and forget to turn off the screen, you will experience some battery loss.

This case is GREAT! I have been using it for about 4 months now and it goes through the rigors of life beautifully. I don't remember what the drop rating is on the case but, I do know it will take a 4ft drop onto hard concrete without a problem! (Commenting from experience...Yikes!). I am willing to do SO MUCH MORE with the iPad now that it has a durable case. I was thinking about an otter box or life proof case for the device but both of those cases have built in PLASTIC😟 screen protectors that decrease sensitivity of the screen and increase glare from any light (especially the sun). I did put an invisible-shield HD "glass" screen protector on the iPad and after that drop onto the concrete the screen protector was still fine!(they're designed to absorb the impact and shatter, protecting your devices screen by doing so) I am very happy with this product and would definitely buy it again! In short, QUALITY PRODUCT, GREAT DESIGN, and AWESOME PROTECTION!(the one thing I noticed that they don't show is the FRONT of the iPad with the case closed. There is a small opening in the cover of the case so that you can use the camera when it's flipped open{AWESOME FEATURE} but... It does mean that there has to be a hole in the cover)I'll leave some pictures for you guys to see what I'm talking about. Btw, this is NOT A PROBLEM. I knew that there would be a hole here before I bought it. Again, amazing product!

I let my toddler use the iPad without much worry with this case. Obviously I'm not going to allow him to test the limits, but he opens, closes, bends and pretty much has his way with the case. And yet it stands up to the abuse. That leaves me feeling confident that although this case has a 25 year warranty - that's right, 25 years - I'm not likely to need it because the construction is clearly durable. This should easily outlast the device it protects. I think that's the way it should be. I also use the Zagg glad on it, which pairs nicely with this case. The only knock on it, which is not that big a deal for me, is that you can't stand it in portrait mode. I would imagine that's tough to design without adding bulk, and it's likely not cost effective either.

A perfect product, I was on the fence as to which case to get for my iPad air 2 and the choices where between this one and The Otterbox Defender, too bulky as well as the Griffin Survivor case. A pain in the neck to install and take off. This one is slim and is easy to open and feels full protected. I like the look and feel of this case. Installation was nice and simple and I've gotten complements as to how good the fit and feel of this case. Only thing I recommend is buy a tempered glass cover to protect your screen. Again a very good product held in high regards. If you have an iPad air 2 and are looking for a great case look no further.

Loved this case. Used the hell out of it. The multiple angles were always perfect for anything I was doing. And the durability as far as drop toughness was awesome. The case did eventually break at the weakest bending point but I got around 3.5 years of daily use out of it. Even with that I still loved this case.

I loved the idea of this case. However, I could not open the case with the iPad in the case. I felt like I was going to damage the iPad with the amount of force I had to use in order to open it. Maybe it was just a defective case, but I ended up returning it and purchasing another case.

This is an incredible case. I have always been a fan of Thule products, and this iPad Air 2 case does no disappoint. It is strong, it looks sleek, and I have gotten a lot of compliments from people about how good it looks. The only disadvantage is that the case does not have the little magnets imbedded to lock the iPad when the case is closed. This is not a deal breaker, for for the price I would have expected that feature. Otherwise it is a solid case and will probably last way longer than the iPad will be useful for me. Great product!!

Thule Atmos X3 for iPad Air 2 (Black) This is a great case for the iPad Air 2. I tried to save money and bought a cheaper one that just did not work out. Do yourself a favor. Save your money on the cheap one and just get this one in the first place. It completely covers you iPad when not is use and basically just folds back like a cover when needed. It is light weight but tough. Put a tempered glass screen protector on your iPad and get this case and you have the protection you need.

Excellent case, high level of protection without adding to much bulk and weight. Design for viewing works very well, best case I've had (and I've had a few)

Wir nutzen unser ipad regelmässig und zum Teil auch bei Outdooraktivitäten - darum habe ich eine passende Hülle gesucht. Die Thule Atmos X3 macht einen guten, soliden Eindruck, hat aber Schwachstellen und die werden ihr zum Verhängnis. Nach 1 Jahr brach eine der Ecken aus, ohne ersichtliche Gewalteinwirkung, nach 1,5 Jahren in Gebrauch brach der Standfuß aus seiner Verankerung. Dies konnte ich zwar wieder reparieren, aber kurze Zeit später riss der Standfuß auch auf der ipadSeite an der Gummilasche ein. Heute entscheide ich mich für eine Hülle ohne mechanische Sollbruchstellen und hoffe, dass diese etwas länger hält. Weiterer Vorteil: Sie ist auch günstiger.

La funda es espectacular. Muy buenos materiales y acabados, un encaje perfecto en el ipad y ofrece mucha protección sin añadir mucho peso ni grosor. El sistema de soporte también está muy bien pensado. La verdad es que la funda tiene pinta de que va a durar mas que el ipad. Muy contento con la compra.

Compré esta funda atraído por su diseño y por el prestigio de su marca y si bien el diseño es bueno la calidad es terrible. En menos de un año de usos se ha roto por las cuatro esquinas que sujetan el iPad dándole un uso completamente normal. Por el precio que tiene es una completa estafa, cualquier otra opción será mejor y probablemente más económica.

Vom hohen Preis sollte man sich nicht abschrecken lassen. Das Thule Atmos X3 gewährleistet den bestmöglichen Schutz für das teure iPad, da sollte man hier nicht am falschen Ende sparen. Es passt übrigens auch das iPad Pro 9,7" in das Cover.
