My husband tried berberine because his cholesteral was high enough for his doctor to prescribe statins, which gave him side effects (a great deal of achiness). After taking it for three months, his cholesteral was within the normal range and almost low! He has been taking berberine for several years, it continues to work, and he has had no side effects whatsoever.

The one thing I have notived that no one else mentioned was it makes me sweat.. Almost like a thermal effect. After doing some research I did discover that this is something that happens, especially when bad bacteria within the body is dying off. So I guess its doing its job!! Ive had no other side effects. It also took 2 days but my cravings are much less... And I love Sweets!! While I do follow a low calorie diet, I do have my slip ups, but i have been losing weight slightly easier within the last week, I'm guessing from the reduced cravings. I'm prediabetic so I'll be curious to see if this helps lower my A1C as thats been a battle for a few years now. Almost a week in and I'm happy with the product. I'm hoping the sweats go away, it usually occurs after the second dose, but its also not every day. I will purchase this when I run out.

My husband started taking this supplement 4 months ago. plus another supplement to lower blood sugar, it seems to be helping bring his numbers down. they are easy to swallow, does not upset his stomach, takes it before a meal and a snack. he is not on a drs rx to lower his sugar for now. would recommend it to help lower blood sugar.

It seems that my blood-pressure has improved since I began using MaxX Labs Berberine. I appears that it has to be in your system for at least 1 or 2 months but after that, I began so see my numbers come down several points, enough that I will continue to use it.
