Apexx blue core drill bits fit on DeWalt, Black & Decker, Makita, Bosch, Porter Cable and other angle grinders with 5/8"-11 Spindle. With our adapter to 3/8" shank, you can also use them on Black & Decker, DeWalt and other electric hand drills. Must be used with enough cooling water to prevent overheating. A template is highly recommended. Test drilling before actually working on your project.

Worked great for cutting though a granite countertop
I needed this bit to cut a hole in my in place kitchen granite counter top to install a new reverse osmosis water tap. I needed to buy the referenced adapter to fit this in my drill chuck (as opposed to the native angle grinder connection). Worked great. Take your time - I counted to 10 during active drilling, and then paused to let things cool.To start I suggest masking tape and marking your hole location. Start the drill at an angle, and the tape will help prevent the bit from walking. Keep with water on the area while drilling too.

the second picture shown is not what comes in the box. There is no drill adapter. This is the second one I have ordered and the pictures are misleading. Do not buy unless you have a core drill adapter already. see pictures below...
