At first I really didn't like this - I liked the familiar grape taste, but the unusual texture threw me. It's light and gelatinous, not as chewy as I expected. Also, the tight packaging took a little getting used to, but I learned how to open the package easily, if opened properly. By eating the candy in strips, the texture works best in your mouth, and you get a stronger taste. It's surprisingly different eating it in strips vs. eating the whole piece at once. You would think the taste would be stronger eating the whole piece, but it is not - the strips provide more surface area, which seems to be needed for the most flavor transmission.

After watching the hilarious Japanese commercial so many times, I definitely had to try the short and the 50 centimeter apple and grape gummies which are quite delicious and fun to tear in my opinion.

Three words: long, long maaaaaaan! These were the shorter, regular sized gummies. I have been wanting to try them forever, and finally gave in and bought them. They're pretty good; not overly sweet. Shipping was quick and they were well packaged.
