The best frisbee for humans and dogs!
This is my favorite new dog frisbee. I've tried just about every flying toy out there for dogs, and this one is the best in terms of being a good compromise in durability, hang time, price, and ease of use. It is easy to throw it far, which is important for me since I don't exactly have a lot of arm strength at my size. I also floats nicely, so it allows my lab mix to snatch it out of the air, which she loves to do.I've tried the Hyper Pet Hyper Flippy Flopper, Booda Tail Spin Flyer, Ruffwear Hover Craft, Westpaw Zogoflex Zisc, Chuckit Zipflght, Chuckit Flying Squirrel, and Chuckit Paraflight glider. This frisbee is my favorite, although the Booda Tail Spin Flyer and Chuckit Paraflight glider are a close second. In terms of durability, the nod goes to Ruffwear Hover Craft with the foam core; it is also one of the most expensive dog frisbees (about $24). My only issue with the Hover Craft is that it doesn't do well in the wind; it tends to sink quickly when you throw with the wind at your back. Whereas, the Floppy Disc is much lighter so it hangs in the air a little longer.Overall, the relatively inexpensive Floppy Disc is the winner amongst the other competitors, but you also can't go wrong with the Booda Tail Spin Flyer and Chuckit Paraflight glider.

Our little girl's favoritie toy!
This is by far the best dog frisby that I've found. Our dogs have played with plastic frisbies, but they're difficult to pick up and don't fly as well. The soft frisby is easy on our dog's teeth, easy for her to pick up, and it flies really well - too well, as it's landed on the roof of our garage quite a few times - operator error, not the fault of the toy!! Amazingly, this flying disc actually holds up better than the plastic frisbies do. They fly despite a little shredding and biting, while the plastic frisbies simply get eaten. We got the 10 inch one for our 50 pound dog.

My dog loves this frisbee. It's lightweight and mostly durable - it takes a good beating between an active dog, Florida sun and pool chlorine before it starts to fall apart. We keep repurchasing.

Destroyed by German Shepard
Bought this because I read a review that stated "my German Shepard tears up toys and hasn't destroyed this." Well, my German Shepard tears up toys and shredded this within a couple weeks! The first time he played with it, the cloth middle got a hole in it. A week or two more of playing with it, and it was shredded. Very disappointed because my 3 year old loves throwing the frisbee to our dog and we can't find one that our dog won't get destroyed after a week or so.

Nice Toy, too bad it doesn't last
Purchased two of these discs recently, and they are a neat toy on land or in the water. i used them with my wolf pack of four (two germans and two belgians) and after less than one month, the first one was already chewed up and coming apart. important to note that i only used it for perhaps 30-45 minutes per day and not every day, and only when i was present to receive or retrieve it each time… had i left it with with the wolves i'm sure it would not have lasted one day. in other words, just from being caught and brought back to me, at least the first one was pretty much used up in less than a month. i enjoyed the fact that you can play with the wind and create some challenges in throwing them, more than a heavier rubber or plastic disc. maybe they aren't meant to last any longer, who knows? i wouldn't necessarily discourage you from buying this product, but these are my observations.

So glad we found these!
Our German Shepherd LOVES to play with these things! I'm not kidding, it's like an addiction or something. She is a pretty stable dog most of the time, but all I have to do is show her this things and she starts dancing all around the room wanting to go outside to play. We tried the hard plastic discs as she was first learning to play but they got really rough, with a lot of teeth marks and would sometimes cut her lips and gums. I'm not here to knock any other items but the harder plastic ones just didn't seem as safe to me, especially the way she way jumping to catch it. Anyway, we tried the flying squirrel toy like this one CHUCKIT! FLYING SQUIRREL MEDIUM that we got locally and it was a lot better, but was a little hard to throw for me. I have problems with my shoulder and to get the squirrel to fly well, I had to really put a spin on it which did my shoulder in after a few throws. Then I found this floppy disk and gave it a try. For me, it's easier to throw, flies better, hangs in the air better (depending on the wind) and is much safer for the dog than the hard plastic discs. Our dog is about 60lbs right now and the medium seem to be the perfect size for here. This is our second medium since the first one is starting to show some signs of wear and tear after A LOT of use. I would recommend putting the disc away after use so it doesn't get used as a chew toy. Also, one other tip.... periodically I like to wash ours with just a drop of dish soap, then I lay it on the A/C unit out side and the fan dries it in no time. I have also tried the 12" version of this which is just as nice but seems to be a little harder to throw (for me) than the smaller 10" medium version. I've also tried Tail Spin and Chuckit brands that look a lot like this one. They all seem to work well, and I'm sure we will eventually wear them out, but this Floppy Disc in the medium 10" size is still my favorite.

Great Frisbee, easy on your dog's mouth...
Costs less to order from amazon than to buy in pet store -- :) This is the one with the rubber tubing that's soft, and thus soft on your dog's teeth/mouth. Will take some use to soften up (stiff right out of packaging, so it's needs some breaking in to soften). I just wish they lasted longer -- eventually the stitching will give way. So I plan to shore it up on the sewing machine to see if that will help its longevity. These frisbees fly easily, and float longer allowing your dog more time to catch it. Very happy with it!

Soft, brightly colored and my dog likes it. ...
Soft, brightly colored and my dog likes it. But it won't fly level after many attempts. Back to my old trusty Ruffwear soft frisbee.
