Just what I was looking for!
It heats up quickly and allows me to make tea, coffee, oatmeal, ramen, etc. in my room without relying on too much of anything else. I needed something that would travel nicely. As the cord on this one separates from the pot, it makes packing easier (as does the fact that it is collapsible). I haven't had to clean it yet (aside from the initial, out of the box, use soapy water bit). I can foresee it being a bit difficult for some as the top opening is a bit small. Thankfully I have small hands, so no issues for me.

Great compact design.
Works perfectly and compact for travel. Only thing I would change is the little dial on the Bott m to change from 110 to 220 volts is hard to tell the position it is in. If it is not lined up, it will not work. Once lined up, no issues.

Set the voltage correctly
This is an updated review. I recently purchased this kettle for travel. We tried a couple of times to get the water to boil and were not successful. What we learned is that when you move the dial on the bottom of the kettle to 110v MAKE SURE that it aligns to the little dot below the 110v marking. Once I did that it worked beautifully!!!

This is a very good idem i suggest you buy it!
The shipping was prompt and it was well packaged. The cord to the base is a nice length. Boils water in the described time. Materials and construction are good. I absolutely love this kettle. I think I enjoy using this to make my tea on travel.

Its 1000watts
Update: producing a lot of white floating deposits when boiling to full power. I used to set temps to 70-80% for my coffee but now that i tried fully boiling there is a lot of creamy wuite stuff floating on top of water. I use only bottled water from grocery stores. The substance is creamy rather than hard calcium. When it stays on sidewalls its easy to clean. Im not sure if its coming from the heating plate or rubber walls. Wish i gave it a full boil sooner, now my teturn window has closed and im stuck with 45$ expense thats potentially harmful. Its not rated 600 watts. In 110v mode it pulls 900-1000 watts and in 220v mode it pulls 300 watts. Not sure how i would clean the rubber if i used with dirty water.Wish it was even smaller l. I like that the bottom is flat and wide and traveling it wont tip over easily

Voltage switch issues
Jury is still out on weather or not I’ll keep this. When I first connected this to power I get a blue light on the knob but it wouldn’t heat. I messed with the voltage select switch which will spin freely when turned, it doesn’t have any clear stopping points but after fiddling with it it started working. The water boiled reasonably fast. I dialed it back to the tea setting and it stopped boil and cycles on and off to keep the water hot. My only concern is the voltage switch.... I’m not sure how to know when it’s on 220 or 110 since it doesn’t line up. It not a big deal to select 220 when plugged into 110 but selecting 110 when plugged into 220 might turn you into a crispy critter..... got this to use at work and it’s working as it should as long as the voltage switch stays where I have it.

You need one!
I am a flight attendant and use this every day! I know it’s clean, compact, easy to throw in my suitcase and boils water quickly

Defective but too late to return
Finally got around to using this kettle that I bought several months ago. Plain and simple, it does not work. Plugged it in, light came on, and then nothing. Went to Amazon to return and found out the “window” for returns or technical support closed last month. Lesson learned. Always make sure a product works right away.

Horrible
This product is a horror story. It boils away the silicone into the water. I do not think it is safe at all.

Great little kettle
I bought this to use on my kitchen table in the mornings.. I have a plug near the table and being disabled this means I don't have to walk far to get my tea/coffee in the am.. Hope it lasts because its a great product so far..
