Not Connectable!! They say they can be trimmed and connected so that you can make a longer strip. This is not accurate at all. If you connect even just 2 strings together, the second string sims down to a completely different brightness. DO NOT ADVERTISE THAT PEOPLE CAN CONNECT MULTIPLE STRINGS IF THEY CANT! They clearly show multiple pictures with them lining crown molding, staircases, cabinets (pictures stolen from another website) and the only way this is possible is if they are not connected but all separately plugged in with an extra adapter purchased for each individual 16.4 ft strand.

It's OK, and lucky I have a few AC adapters, because this doesn't come with one. Also, no remote, so if you want to wire it directly to a PC (has a couple of loose strand wires to do that), or plug it into an AC adapter (which gets very hot), you can do it. The strand itself is fairly bright, and they do provide 'cut-lines' so you can trim to fit your need, and, they included a connector to connect strands, ones you've previously cut, or to extend this one. It has double-stick tape to hold it in place, but I prefer the clamps (purchased separately) instead of having glue residue - as I like to line the tops of cabinets.

I installed these on my duck boat to be used during the early morning hours while in the blind. Installation was easy, the adhesive backing worked like a charm. The lights were nice and bright and gave us enough ambient light for those hours in the darkness. I went to use them again this year and 2/3 of the lights were burned out. I stored my boat for the season under a heavy tarp with very little exposure to the elements. Don't know what happened, maybe excess moisture or temperature extremes might have doomed these lights, I have no idea. I will buy again because of the price.

Little ticked that I didn't read fine print, and understand that this is a component, but needs a power supply. That said, their customer service is great! Good people.

These lights are amazing! Did I mention they come at an extremely affordable price.

Very bright. The sticky strip on the back was no good for the 1st two feet. Didn't matter because I was covering it with silicone.
