Once I received this spoon rest, my old mother happened to be around. She often blames me for purchsing items that are "totally useless". But for this time,in the first place, I know she wouldn't be angry. I carefully took it out of the box,and could't help cheering. The iron materail looks so strong,and the bright painting slightly shines under the winter moon light, the design reminds me of a soup opera introducing Roman Royal's life. And the size is just suitable for my wooden spoon. Now I no longer have to worry about where to put my spoon when not in use, and it fit's my dining room's design well. And my mother is,undoubtedly,satisfied with this purchase. She even asked me to buy another for her!

The only take away is you have to be careful cleaning, and not immerse. It has a rubber pad on the bottom to keep it from sliding and scratching, as it's cast iron. I'm sure it will detach sooner or later, but later is better. Thinking a small strip from a silicone baking sheet on the stove will solve the problem.

I bought this because my last two spoon rests broke when dropped on the floor. They also were too big on my stove. This spoon rest takes up less room, looks great and is not going to break if dropped. Excellent decision to get on my part!

This a very nice, pretty spoon rest. Had 1 problem though the first time I washed it in Dawn liquid soap it faded in spots. So it’s not so pretty now. Disappointed consumer. Don’t know if it was just a flaw in the one I received or across the board. Wish I could get a replacement

Perfect for my kitchen. I’ve had many stoneware spoon rests, and they’ve all broken....cast iron will never break and this [red] one looks good on my black countertop.
