Very fast board with plenty of torque and strength to even go up parking garages.

The board doesn’t really have much flex so keep that in mind if you plan on riding for a while or just have sensitive feet. My girlfriend’s feet and calves started hurting after 20-30 minutes of riding, but she also doesn’t ride skateboards as much as I do.The board is well built and sturdy, if you end up buying this and seeing it in person you’ll understand what I mean.-Pros--SPEED. This easily hits over 20mph and it gets scary if you aren’t used to going fast on a board-HILL CLIMBING. I live in a hilly area and the board is still capable of taking me to the top. This does burn your battery way faster so don’t overdo it.-PRICE. I did a good amount of research and ending up choosing the Backfire G2 2019 because of its great value. High quality deck with speed and decent range. Most boards will ask for an extra $100+ for what you’re getting out of this board.-HUB MOTORS. So much better than belt driven boards which are loud as hell. Hub motors just sound better when you’re cruising or going anywhere in general. If you enjoy a quiet ride then pull the trigger on this one.-Cons--RANGE. It’s decent. Around 8 miles for me. Depending on the condition (weight, wind direction, flat/hilly road, etc.) you might hit the 10 miles advertised.-WHEEL RATTLE. So I started hearing a rattle on one of my wheels where the motors are at. The board still runs fine but I believe this was an issue in the previous model (G2S). I haven’t had the time to check it out yet. Good news is I’m still under warranty so if it becomes an even bigger issue I’ll send it back.

I use this Longboard all the time. I take to the store or over to the gym. If the weather in nice, I am out riding. The controller connectivity works great. It is very responsive. It is important to check to board and tighten down the trucks and bushings prior to riding it. I had an issue where one of the wheels came off the board when I was riding it.Pros: Fast, Can go about 10 miles on a charge. It is fast and responsive.Cons: Quality Control Could be better. The board is a little stiff. It could be more flexible. The controller only has two speeds. It take about three hours to charge, longer than I thought it would be.

When I got my backfire, I was worried about the weight as I take it on a train for work. But the weight only feels substantial if you try to carry it more often when you should be riding it! The board feels great, the motor is quiet, and it's fast when it needs to be. the remote is simple, and easy to learn and get used to. Braking is not too abrupt, but I found this to be a strength when slowing down, because shifting your weight back as it breaks is easier than if it abruptly came to a stop to throw you off. Just know if you run into an obstacle, very close, like a pedestrian around a corner, it's better to take blind spots slowly because your brake may not stop you in time. Overall, I am very impressed with the performance of the board, I have a friend who sunk twice the amount into another brand, and we get just about the same results in distance/top speed/ braking/weight. Would recommend to anyone who needs a fun and fairly convenient way to get around town, a city, or travels on a train like me and needs it for the last mile of walking.

This board is very nice. This.is my third e-board and the difference is night and day. The breaking and acceleration are way smoother than the cheap ones. I feel this company does not stretch the truth. When they say the top speed is 23, it is. Others were off by ⅓. Range is 10 miles.The first two had ½ the stated range, half. I just wish I bought this one first.

I had first bought a Halo board 2 weeks ago, I would like to say, the backfire g2 has better acceleration, brakes, top speed and is more comfortable. I only took it on about 2 miles. But I definitely felt the difference. Look forward to see how the board is in 3 months. I'll post another review then

My son is 13 and loves it. Not sure I like it as for safety goes. Helmet is a must.
