Love these trays!
Items came exactly as pictured. I purchased this set because a friend of mine had a tray like this in the freezer and I loved the ease of getting the ice out of the tray, as well as the size of the ice. It is not really small enough to fit into a regular-sized commercial water bottle or soda bottle, however, it's great for a refillable water bottle (these tend to have wider mouths). I am an ice chewer, so the size of the ice is ideal. With this tray I can remove one ice cube (actually it is round) at a time just by pressing the bottom of an individual piece. I can remove the whole tray by pressing the tray down on a counter and then emptying out into a tray. There is no need to twist/bend the tray or to use fingernails to lift up! What I also notice is that because of the size of the ice, the water freezes up rapidly, so you have ice right away. As soon as one tray freezes up, I add another tray on top, and again. The next best thing to this would be an ice maker. But this is way cheaper! I love this product!

Great for Baby Food!
I have a 6 month old and I've been making her fresh fruit and veggie purees since we introduced solids. I had bought one of these from Dollar Tree years ago but they seems to have stopped selling them. They are perfect for freezing baby food purees - each cube is about 1/2 oz when defrosted. I can make plenty of fresh foods for her and freeze them. They last about 3 months frozen. The only downside, or should I say suggestion - is to only freeze them for about an hour and then pop them out and place them into bags (or a separate container if you're using them for actual ice.) I find if I let them freeze overnight, it's harder to pop them out. In that case, I just blast it in the microwave for like 15 seconds to soften them up. Overall, good product.

Meh.
I don't know... I wanted some smaller cubes for making my iced coffees in the morning, as the trays I have now make giant 2 x 1 cubes that I felt were too big. These trays make good sized cubes, but there are a couple things that make these trays not very well thought out. 1) They aren't stackable when freshly filled. The rounded bottoms poke into the tray below, spreading water up over tray, making the trays stick together once they freeze. Highly annoying. It's 2017, can we stop making ice trays that can be stacked once filled? Serious oversight. And 2) have you had any fun getting the ice OUT of these trays? They aren't rigid enough to just shift the ice out when bent or twisted, so the tray just bends around the ice. In order to get the ice out, I have to flip the tray over and grind the ball of my palm into the rounded ice parts. This results in ice all over the counter, sometimes sliding onto the floor.I have kind of perfected it by now, with minimal ice explosions. But these were cheap trays and the makers clearly did not think about a number of things people do with them. I don't care that they're cute colors or rounded. Those are meaningless features. I want trays that can stack when freshly filled, and that can be emptied by simply twisting.

I use these for quail eggs
I have quails, and I use / used these for quail eggs. For that usage, pros: 21 eggs per trays, pretty good size, easy to remove eggs.medium: average to cleancons: the holes are a bit too small for some eggs. (jumbo coturnix), more could fit in the same size, stacking trays is possible but not that easy (with eggs again, with water that wouldn't be a problem).I'll try some other similar trays...

Smoothie Cube Happy
Looking for smaller cubes to make smoothies with. Coffee cubes, actually. These seem to fit the bill. With the silicone bottom, it is easy to pop out as long as you dont fill up to the top. Filling with cooled coffee is the best bet. Doing so with scalding hot liquid may cause the plastic part of the tray to warp, as only the bottom cradle of each cube is silicone. Filling properly is done best if you do not fill completely to the brim of each vessel. Filling just to the top of the colored layer will ensure the silicone can be used as a "button" to press out each cube easily, once frozen.Keep in mind, each cube will turn out about the size of 4 stacked dimes. Hence, a tray for each smoothie. Which is perfect for me. The person who recommend turning out the tray in a plastic zipper bag is smartie! Thanks!

Perfect for frozen aquarium fish food cubes.
These are perfect for premixing assorted frozen fish food for a saltwater aquarium. (Food needs thawing and rinsing first, so it's too much to ask of a house sitter.) These are perfect... I pre-mixed enough for three cubes a day x seven days... in each tray :D Just pop one out and drop it in, three times a day.The cubes pop out easily (Far faster and easier than all all-silicone trays.) They would also work well for cubes of fresh herbs, lemon juice, grated ginger, coffee, etc.The only drawback is that they are not designed to stack when full (minus one star). I solved the problem by laying a strip of parchment paper between each of the full trays before stacking, and it worked fine... with no overflowing.Very happy to have found these!

Works Great!!
I bought these cause I organically had some plastic ones from walmart and hated them, and I really wanted Silicone one that would be easier to get out. And these didn't disappoint, they are so much easier to use and come out great, and if they do get a little stuck I can just leave them on the table or like a min and they pop right out. I also really like the size of these, they are not to big that i cant fit them in any water bottle or cup and they are not to small that they melt too fast, its good on the small medium size. over all I really glad I bought these and I like that it came in a set of 3 and I can make a lot of ice at the same time. :)
