I love this slider... but i can't keep it. Its not the best.
This is a great slider compared to any other slider on the market at its price point (infact this is a bit pricy though).Good things first... smooth as honey👍 Length is decent. Gets the job done.Comign to the ugly side... it cant handle weight (For a DSLR with rig it works well)... when i use my Red Scarlet MX it wobbles a bit (My camera weight is under its capacity. May be my item is defective... i have seen MKBHD using it with Red Weapon- but he was placing it on a desk on both ends). If your camera weighs a bit heavier than a DSLR... dont even think about mounting it on a single tripod. You must need two tripods/light stand to mount it in both ends ( imagine adjusting two tripods/light stands to to level this at both ends. If it can stand on a single tripod and if you have a ball head for the tripod... you can level this in no time)Biggest issue of all... when i use the Extension rods... i get a bump in the Footage. This is a big deal for me.With all these issues... i still want to keep this due to its buttery smooth sliding capability... thinking that i can get 1.5m steel tubes/carbon fiber tubes ( to avoid using extension rods and use a single set of rods for long slides... ) but you dont get them easily from third party. The problem is with the carbon fiber tube dimensions... we get a 22mm OD as standard rods which are not easily available... like 1.5m long in the matket... try finding them yourself on amazon itself.I loved this but cant keep this. Returning it.This is from my own perspective. If you are a DSLR shooter... this is the best you can get.Plannign to use it with Canon C300/ Black magic/Red... be cautious. Dont end up like me.Finally i wish... Ifootage can offer a longer Carbon fiber rods or Ideally a stronger Stainlss Steel rods as accessories which can be purchased for additional cost. But they dont sell. Hmmm 😇

I take this to every shoot! Amazing slider!
The media could not be loaded. After going through several less expensive slider options, and a ton of shopping, reading and research, I finally upgraded to the Shark Slider S1. I am a professional videographer and filmmaker, so I use my equipment constantly. I needed something that would give me professional video quality, durable construction, adaptability, and wouldn't break the bank. This slider hit every mark. I actually hadn't expected the quality to be as excellent as it is due to the price. There are dozens of options out there at double the price, so I was just hoping for the best. I have been more than happy with my purchase. The counter weight belt driven design provides extremely smooth, easy to control camera moves. The additional carbon fiber rails are beautifully machined, and provide a continuously smooth, bump free operation at full length. Everything on this slider is well built, smartly designed and easy to use, down to the carrying bag. I have recommended this slider to several friends, and will be purchasing other gear from this company.I have attached a short horror film that was produced right after purchasing this slider. You will be able to see several shots demonstrating how smoothly it operates.

Great slider - top notch build and easy setup.
I am a high school film teacher at an arts school in New Orleans. My students have asked for a slider for some time and we researched many models before deciding to buy the Shark Slider. I have been impressed with the quality of the build and the ease of the setup. It has been a joy to use and my students love it. Here are their comments:"Between the slider's durability, ergonomics, and convenience, it is easily my favorite slider on the market. The ability to add weight to the movement opens a new way of feathering slider movements, and it's friction system works flawlessly. Plenty of cheese plate and mounting options make it perfect in executing a tricky shot. Simply put it adds production value at a fraction of the cost eliminating difficult dolly solutions. ""The slider is so simple for the quality. It is easily set up in 10 to 15 mins and requires little to no camera expertise to create smooth moves. The extension is easily installed and creates a great connection between the original and the extension. The slider has the ability to be set up with any tripod or with any tripod head depending on the user preference. I would definitely recommend this slider for the price."

Great Slider And Customer Service
I've used many sliders for professional work and this one is the best within the price range. Smooth, quiet operation that works great for interviews. Durable enough, but like all sliders it needs to be handled with care in order to maintain reliable operation - which from my experience is why rented sliders are often garbage.Very good customer service. I had an issue with the hex screw that keeps an attached head from coming loose while panning. The screw is too short and became lodged in between the bottom of the head and Shark main plate. The head could no longer turn in relation to the tie-down bolt, meaning it was now stuck on the main plate. I contacted this seller's email and received an immediate and helpful response which over the course of several emails solved the problem. I had to remove the tie-down bolt, which wasn't easy, but freed the head nonetheless. If you make this purchase, check the screw (see image), if it is around 1/4" I suggest replacing with something a bit longer such as 1/2".
