I have been working on my ancestry for the past 16 years and this book solidified my findings on Capt. William Farrar, my 10th great grandfather.

Finding many ancestors to add to my familty tree.

Book was as described and is a great source of information.

I already had the name of my Ancient Planter, so had not expected much, in the way of new information. Imagine my delight and surprise to find 12 more grandfathers to my Jamestown list!

Have an ancestor, Walter Childs, who bought the Kemp house which is not known as the Kemp Childs house and you can see where the foundation is in Jamestown. Just wanted a book with his history in it.

I was able to find my ancestors in this early Virginia listing.

Maybe I didn't read the description correctly. But for some reason I thought this would be more than just a list of names. I will keep it for now but will be more careful in the future. Seems like a lot of money to pay for a list I could have printed off from several free on-line sites.
