The Acousticom-2 is the newest RF and microwave meter from EMFields Solutions, designed, built and tested using their 25 years’ experience with EMF/RF measurements, research, and EMFields integrity. The Acousticom-2 detects and measures RF/microwave fields as low as 0.01 V/m, which is extremely sensitive, unmatched by most RF meters. Includes 2-year warranty. With simple controls, easy to read results, using the same advanced microwave detector as our Acoustimeter, this instrument is perfect for those on a budget. Small and light-weight it can be carried in a pocket or bag, and comes in a zippered carry-pouch. It measures the RF and microwave radiation exposure in peak Volts/meter (V/m) and displays the measurement on a column of LED lights, with audio signal, and an alarm at high levels of RF (you can also switch the sound off). Frequency Range is 200 MHz - 8000 MHz (200 MHz – 8 GHz). All of us are constantly being exposed to increasing levels of pulsing microwave signals in this frequency range from smart phones and their base stations, Wi-Fi, cordless phones, tablet PCs, games consoles, Smart Meters, the 'Internet of Things' (IoT which includes most modern fridges, freezers, cookers, washing machines, etc. in your home).
