Pet Shop Sticker Activity Book (Dover Little Activity Books: Pets)

Great little book, but I didn't realize it was so small. Note the measurements before you buy.

These little Dover books are good to slip in a parent’s bag to amuse children while waiting for dinner out or an appointment

So if you have a child that seems to like stickers this might be good for them for maybe 1 hour. I got this book so that I could go on a plane with my 2 1/2 year old on vacation. It was fun for her for a while, I am just not sure that it was worth what I paid. It does come with a lot of stickers, but the book itself is a lamented page on with stickers stapled in the middle. It didn't have much room to put the various stickers, therefore my child started sticking them on the window and seat. Ugh! Oh well, that is my fault for thinking a 2 1/2 year old could handle it. I am not sure how long an older child will take to it, but if you are buying for 2+ I hope you have other things than this.

The Dover Little Activity Books are small, at only about 6 inches tall. They come with a background in the book and two pages of stickers with characters and items that match the theme of the background. They are what I consider to be semi-reusable, as you can move the sticker and place it somewhere else, but you probably won't get many uses out of the stickers. They are thin paper stickers - not thick plastic.I find these books are best suited for special occasions, like long car rides, or plane trips.For everyday use, I highly suggest  Melissa & Doug Sticker Collection - Pink  for girls or the  Melissa & Doug Sticker Collection- Blue  for boys, as they are inexpensive (under $6) and contain hundreds of stickers.

For $2, I absolutely love these! They're simple sticker scenes great for my kids, in the car. I also love adding these to gifts for kids. A fun addition to the gift!

My kids ages 6 & 4 love these. A great little cheap gift. I'll probably buy more of these around Christmas as stocking stuffers. The stickers do not all fit on the one scene, but that is part of its appeal. The kids can take some off and do a whole new scene. I'll be taking this out to eat with us to give them something to do. My 6 year old got the pet shop and I bought a train one like this for my 4 year old.

My four year old sits quietly with these and plays by herself for a very long time which anyone knows is worth it's weight in gold. This is the second child I have used these with and both loved them. They last a very long time even through lots of reuse, they are very cheap, take up almost no room in the bag and kids love them. What more could you ask for? We have several of these so I'm putting this review on each of them.

Cute little sticker books, I used to get these for my kids and now for my Bff's little girl. Yes, they are cheap,no they won't last, but its a easy, small, nice to ship or keep in your purse for unexpected waits at drs, restaurants,quick surprises.
