These shoe horns are the right size in terms of use in travel and use. They do not take up a lot of room so packing them is a cinch. They are sturdy so you don't have to worry that using them will crack them or somehow alter their effectiveness.... I'm very pleased with this purchase. I would recommend them to anyone who travels frequently and needs something convenient and handy!

Okay, Amazon thinks these shoe horns are SHOES, so pay no attention to all those responses about the fit. Shoe horns may be very old-fashioned, but they still are the best way not to break down the backs of very expensive running shoes. I used to nick them from the hotels I stayed at, but I'm not doing the business travel I once did. And I like these better, since they are a little longer and I don't have to bend down so far. Pack of 2 meant I put one in my golf bag, so I don't break down the backs of those very expensive golf shoes, either.

These are very basic, plastic short shoe horns (though fairly long for a "short" shoe horn.) They are narrow, but that does not seem to be a problem with function. They are very stiff, hard plastic so I will be curious to see how they hold up or if they break with usage. I would say that they are similar to what used to be given away free when you purchased shoes. I took off 1 stars as I thought they were overpriced for the simple plastic item that they are, but it is what they are charging in stores for them too, so i guess it is only fair to say they are comparable. This is such a basic item that I cannot really list any cons for it, it is a serviceable product, though if i had to pay shipping on these I would not have ordered them. One big plus is they are made in the USA and that causes me to say I would buy them again! :)

I like everything about this shoe horn. The feel, it is solid, sleek and made in USA. For something you use almost everyday, it's nice to have one that you like as opposed to just utilitarian.

Pretty typical plastic shoe horn, seems sturdy enough, and was exactly as I expected a plastic shoe horn to be. I expect this to last for many years as long as you aren't trying to shove your foot into a shoe that is several sizes too small. Have had no issues with the edge finish and hasn't snagged any socks. Would buy again if needed.

No, it's not finely crafted of rosewood and horn but for the low cost, they are excellent shoe horns. Great for home or travel, with a wider spoon than many store brand horns. They are also relatively stiff and work much better than those from Kiwi but are still cheap enough that it won't hurt to lose one. If I was running a shoe store, I'd stock these over any other inexpensive horn I've used.

These work fine for me. They are a bit weak and do flex some, but that can be helpful. The 7.5 inch length is not so huge as to make them difficult to store but does make for an easier reach when sitting down (but not when standing). I like them. They are nothing great; after all they are just plastic shoe horns. I would buy them again.Update 9/24/12: These work well for most shoes, but I recently got a pair of sandals that needed more stretch then these plastic horns can provide. They just bend and don't get my heel in. So I am back looking for metal shoe horns. I knocked it down a star.

I purchased these for my mom and my daughter as they have trouble slipping their feet into their shoes easily and I knew this would help.They both liked them and said that they helped and served their purpose. Nothing spectacular to report because there really isn't anything particularly exciting about a shoe horn, but these seem to be well made and are comfortable to use. And they worked as they should. Looking forward to getting lots of use out of them. Thanks for a good product!
