As other reviewers noted. This Braun Round Slide Tray is a must when you want to scan cardboard mounted 33mm slides, with the Pacific Images Automated Slide Scanner. The slots in the Slide tray were quality holding the cardboard mounted slides.It took me about 40 min to load the 100 slides in the tray, between each box I left a empty space, so when done I could tell where that box of 24 ended and the next started. I oriented my slides, making the top of the slide toward the inner part of the round tray. and orienting the slide to prevent the need for a horizontal flip. Because of the different making you have to try your slides to see which direction to face the slide to prevent the need for a horizontal flip of the final digital scanned image.

I purchased a couple of these reels at the same time that I bought the PowerSlide 3650 slide scanner.What a good move that was. For bulk slide scanning, this is the only way to go in scanning 100 slides at a time.If you're purchasing a PowerSlide 3650, then be sure to get a couple of these. One to be running through the scanner, and the other one have free to load the next 100 slides. Keeps you going with your scanning "around the clock".The quality is top notch, very well constructed (no flimsy plastic reel here). Has a nice clear plastic dust cover for each reel as well.This item is MADE IN GERMANY... Not some cheap garbage product of China.Two thumbs up on this product. You'll be pleased that you bought it if you're doing any kind of bulk slide scanning as I have been doing.

Works perfectly on my pacific image power slide 5000 scanner. I use it in conjunction with the slide tray that came with the scanneri.
