These are the best of this variety of chew I've found in a long time. Large and durable. My chewy crazy 12-pound Havanese has been working on one for several hours now and making slow but steady progress. Very happy with this purchase.

These have been by far the best purchase ive made since getting a puppy. They last forever even with a bulldog and are huge. One bone has already lasted us 3 seperate 1 hr chew sessions and is still good to go. They are huge and durable! Smell isnt great, we let her have them outside or in seperate room. It helps the pup with teething and gets her tired. Best money ive spent on the pup since we got her.

Update 4/18/20: last 2 bags were back to excellent quality! My pups fav. Thank you HDP! If the smaller, shorter, thinner ones are ever sent again, more (increase in quantity) should be included in bag. Thank you.-------------I've been ordering HDP spirals for the last 3-4 years for my large breed dog. Up until around the last 6 months of 2019, they were great- true to advertised length & thickness, and not super dried out. Now the bags are no longer full, the spirals are half the size (shorter & thinner), and seemingly dried out/over dried. My pup still enjoys them, but we are getting half the product & they are not inexpensive. Not sure why the quality has dropped so significantly, with every bag now. Disappointing. I'll update my review if you quality ever improves. I'll upload an image of the before (I saved an older, quality product) & present product.

I bought a big bag of these to give to my landlady, because my sneaky-ass Boston/Pit mix is a compulsive kleptomaniac and spends his days tiptoeing into her house and burgling the bully sticks she pays $6 each for at the big-chain pets supply store for her two little victim-dogs (who innocently chew them for awhile then leave them lying around, instead of finishing them all at once or hiding them, like any self-respecting criminal mastermind would do). Well, needless to say, these now show up at my house with great regularity, and they are bigger and better quality than the expensive ones he was stealing before. In fact, the first one he stole was so much longer than the ones he was used to pilfering that he came barreling up to my house with it in his mouth and came to a dead stop, convinced he wouldn't be able to fit it through the dog door opening. I watched his devious mind at work as he dropped it, came through without it, looked back outside at it, went back out, picked it up and maneuvered it around until he was convinced he could make it work.Something tells me I should order more of these...soon.

While these are still a "good" value, comparably, like everything, they've gone up in price and down in size. In two years, they have increased from $100 for a bag of 25, 9"-11", to $120 for a bag of 25, 7"-9". Even though overall inflation has been about 8%, pet products seem to be way outpacing the average inflation. Here's my original review:These are about 2/3 of the price at local retailers and many of them nearly twice the size. In the bag there was only a few that are on the skinny side. There is a slight odor when he's chewing, but it's animal tendon...completely odor-free would be impossible--and I would hate to think what chemicals they would use to try to totally eliminate the odor.

Our pups love these cow dicks! They chew them every day and really enjoy them . This is the best brand and they don’t stink like most of the other cow dicks

Our pups love these. I cut them in half & it keeps them busy, I purchased these 2 times already. Definitely worth the $.

We use these to replace the much overpriced Merrick Flossies (that use to $2.50/each and are now something like $4/50/each). My puppers (Westie & A Big Brown Rescue) LOVE them. Love, Love, Love them! They get a half of one each night and they race to the storage can. Very happy to have found a replacement worthy for my puppers.
