Greatest Tools For Any Rivet Needs
Installing eTracks, fixing box truck frames or sidewalls, you name the job. This tool is something I wish I knew about before I had done some heavy duty riveting tasks in the past. All my use case scenarios involved riveting 1/4 inch rivets but if any one knows how much hand force you need for 1, imagine doing it 100 times in one sitting. It will exhaust the heck out of you. This takes the arm work out and with 2-3 trigger pulls, you are locking and loading rivets one after another. Did a box truck rear wall seal which had me under the box, in-between the axle and just enough space for a skinny 180 pound guy to stick one hand out and angle this tool with a few trigger squeezes about 20 times across the 8 foot wall. No other tool would have made this even realistically possible given the tight parameters and lack of leverage or space to manually do it. Works with my cheap $100 pancake compressor. Recharges after a couple trigger pulls but my compressor is old, noisy, and just hanging on for what it can still do. This is a must tool for any DIYer.

Great tool for 1/4 and samller rivets
It works great, save yourself the headache and get this tool vs manual riveter. Wish this came in an electric version that didn't cost so much but air will do and this tool above the others which i researched really worked out well for 1/4 and 3/16 rivets i used. I will say though that none of the stems ended up in the catch can, they all came out the front which is fine by me and it could be because of the angle i was using the riveter but after some lube and reading the instructions I didn't have a single jam or any issues on first use. I did notice and this could be entirely my fault for really lubing the sucker good with air oil that the exhaust port on the cylinder after pulling the handle a few times would leave a nice round streak of oil on the surface likely because of the oil that was added. Maybe too much oil but i don't mind. Regarding this model compared to others, i can't say much about the others. I went with this one because of the reviews and the advertised pulling pressure of 2434lbs compared to the cheaper Cambel version sold here on amazon which i believe is listed at 2000lbs. More than likely sufficient for the job but for an extra $30 it was worth it to me to get the Astro PR14. I purchased a swivel Bostitech adapter and it worked out well. Will update the review as I use this more often to see how well it holds out. One complaint and its a silly problem but the additional adapters screw to the base of this unit, however there is only 3 holes and 4 total adapters so they should have added an additional screw so you don't have to carry one of the adapters which can possibly get lost. By the way all my rivets are aluminum, have not used steel and likely will not so not sure how well this will do. I will say this design looks so similar to the other model I wonder if there really is a difference or these are all from the same factory with minor changes?

Speed, ease, quality.
Can't tell you how much I love this tool. I bought it for one project requiring about 300 3/16" stainless steel rivets on 16 gauge steel. Without exception, every rivet popped with a single trigger pull. My intent was to sell it after the project. But I'm keeping it. Just today, I had a small job requiring 4 rivets. I first used my old hand rivet tool, but quickly remembered how much effort is required especially for heavy duty rivets. This tool is amazing. It's amazing how much labor and muscle it saves

Powerhouse
It's Easy to hold and use. It's also very sturdy. It Needs to be mauntained properly. My first one was defective and jammed on first try. My Replacement works great. When you first get it, pull the trigger twice and if all works fine, remove nose and spray both sides of jaws with wd40 white lithium grease and 2 drops of good tool oil in air inlet(pull trigger twice) to lubricate piston, then put the nose size on you'll use And you're ready to use the power of the this air Riveter. I used a box of 50 3/16" rivets and this Riveter popped them with ease and no more straining my hands to pop long rivets with this sweet Riveter. Remember to lubricate internal piston with tool oil and the jaws with white grease everytime and you'll be good to go for a long time intil you need to add hydraulic oil. Also, after you pop a Rivet, turn rivet nose up right away, so rivet nail drops into the plastic catch cup using gravity, so you don't have bend over to pick them up. My replacement works great and Astro said my first one that jammed was probably from a batch of 1500 units that were not adjusted correctly at the factory,so make sure to try it in case your's is defective or not, otherwise happy riveting. I plan to get a portable air tank to make my astro Riveter a mobile tool as it needs minimal cfm to pop some rivets, otherwise I'm happy with this astro Riveter for now as its saves my hands and does a great job installing rivets. i can't wait to use my 1/4" extra long rivets. Other than performing well, it handles all size rivets i typically use, which is a big bonus for me. Don't forget there is a nose piece in a plastic bag in the box, so don't lose it. Enjoy and test it before your return window closes up and lubricate piston and jaws every time you use it and it'll continue work well for you. Maintenance is key for this tool. It works great and saves your hands.

Worked great
Used this to rivet approximately 5000 1/8" rivets in aluminum. Not once did it not pull on the first attempt. Used in an industrial capacity and would highly recommend this. My only complaint would be the location of the name on the handle. It's right where your thumb grips the tool and it makes it a little uncomfortable. But that's a small issue and nothing a glove didn't fix. I wasn't expecting much considering the low price, I was blown away with how good it worked.

Estoy muy contento con mi remachadora, la uso para el remache de 1/4 " y es super poderosa, no me a dado ni un solo problema como otras remachadoras que tenia.

It works great on the large 1/4" rivets, the only issue is the plastic push-on catch can, keeps getting knocked off. Should be a screw on holder then it would be 5 stars

Works great, used this with a 110 volt portable air compressor and performed very well. No complaints and recommend this tool as far as a home hobbyist and it met all my expectations and more. Built an extension on to a welding cart and used the riveter for assembly of the aluminum braces and supports for the gas bottle.

I started using this baby about 18 months ago and still use it. So far I;ve used it with 3/16" and 1/4" rivets (I believe 1/4" is the highest you can go on this) and it's worked flawlessly. Very powerful and very easy to use. I recommend pressing up against the the gun so that the tip is evenly flush with the surface you are riveting into and then pull the trigger. Sometimes you may have to release the trigger, allow about 3 seconds for it to regain air and pull trigger again. This is not a flaw as I've seen pneumatic rivet guns 3 times the price do this every now and then as well. If you are using 1/4" rivets set your psi to 130. Overall, great product!
