Small, shallow, with rounded bottoms, these bowls are perfect for salsa for chip-dipping. Also for microwaving small amounts of things, like, say, a small portion of beans to go with your English-style breakfast.Taking the place of larger bowls for uses like the above, they save a lot of dishwasher space.

Perfect little bowls to use around the house. I bought one primarily for keeping ground "herbs and spices" but have put the other five to good use in the kitchen as prep bowls, and in some cases I have even served condiments in them when we have guests. They could also be used as personal bowls for chip/veggie dip.In general, they're just really nice to have around, and they are super easy to clean because they are smooth glass.I have not had any issues with cracking/breaking, but will update this review if I do.

Love these pre-prep dishes! Besides pre-prep, dumpling sauce, tea bag holders, vegetable portions, desserts, tasting bowls, you name it, these are the perfect size! We have twelve, and they are ALL almost always in the dishwasher at the end of the day!

I got these Duralex 4" stacking bowls to replace similar size nut dishes that had broken. Really love these Duralex as replacements--the size is perfect! Use them for everything from condiments (mustard, soy sauce, wasabe, etc) to nuts and candies. Just big enough also to use as a dish for a single scoop of ice cream too. Microwave safe. Stands up to dishwasher use. Very happy with these dishes.

These are exactly the size advertised. If anyone says otherwise, they are wrong, or they misunderstood the size. The description provides not only the number of ounces, but the dimensions, which helps a lot.The only thing I don't like about them is that annoying seam/line near the top. Not sure why it's necessary. the others I have, which are the same type of product by a different brand, are like these, but they don't have a line. So, essentially, my set does not "match". But, their durability is MOST important. We'll see how they hold up after multiple washings and uses. The glass seems reasonably thick.Now, time to cook!

They stack, they hold cereal, they hold other things, they’re from France, you can see right through them. What more do you want from a bowl???

I love these. Great for dipping sauces at the table. "Dipping sauce?" Who am I kidding? Ketchup. They're great for ketchup.More importantly, they're great for cooking prep, which is really why I bought them. Put the chopped garlic in one, the measured dry spices in another, etc. These just help everything stay a bit more orderly in the chaos of cooking.

I'm rating this based on the quality and durability of the product. The glass is nice and clear, and they are a good weight. These are very, very tiny. Unfortunately for me, I didn't understand the size well enough. As a volume illustration, I'd say they would hold about the same as the little paper cups that are often used for nuts or mints. I was looking for something with an appx. 2" base, 4" top. These are about 1" base, 2" top.

Perfect size to serve dips for potato chips, etc (one per person)Handy to have premeasured ingredient's when preparing some foods, fancy breads, etc.Also used them for a selection of toppings for people to choose from for ice-cream sundae.Also a good size for cat's wet food too and bowls have a ring about 5mm from bottom is perfect for adding same amount of water and not worrying about adding too much - which would offend the cats.PS. Very durable & they're always clean when I put them upside-down on top rack of dishwasher.

Purchased these to add to those I already have. Their size is just right for serving fruit, pudding andice cream. They was well in the dishwasher and keep their clear finish.

They are glass bowls. They look good, stack well, and do the job. A few imperfections in the glass, but these are 6 glass bowls for around 20 bucks (CAD) on Amazon. Recommended.

Work great, we use them all the time. Very sturdy and would definitely buy more if they were a bit cheaper.

Break-resistant dishwasher safe bowls great for mixing spices, snack bowl for nuts or as a dip bowl. Since it's break-resistant, it does well in dishwasher and with kids. It's what I expected.
