ZITRADES SMD 5050 Waterproof RGB 300 LED 5m Tape LED Flexible Strip 12 VDC with RGB plug connector by Zitrades

My benchmark is adafruit's 60 led per meter rgb waterproof strip. $25 a meter is expensive but it's really really bright, the colors are accurate, and the white is very bright and middle of the road. (which is good, this one, along with all other cheap strips I've bought have been blue/greenish white)So... the adhesive is much better than the supernight brand ones you can find on amazon. Much better. Still wouldn't rely on them but it works better than others I've used from amazon.Colors are decent. Not the best, but they'll do. More important to me is the white. I'm using these to light a workbench. With all three colors on, the white is a very cool white with a LOT of blue/green to it. Solution? PWM the blue/green down to 70-80% while red is at 100% and you'll get a nice even white, but then you lose a bit of brightness. But... at this price, you can just use twice as much led strip to make up for that and all is well.Pros:dirt cheapdecently brightbetter adhesive than others like supernight brand and othersnice connectors on the endCons:colors aren't super accurate, but they're passablewhite isn't a clean white. it's very blueish and greenish but you can adjust with PWMoverall brightness, especially if you tone the blue and green down, is only half as bright as the adafruit one. but for this price, I'll double up these strips and still have extra money in my pocket.

I returned a $16 RGB SMD 5050 LED strip light because it apparently used LEDs from a manufacturer whose product doesn't have the brightness I find acceptable. I decided to pay $5 more for the Zitrades equivalent, which, at least with the strip I received recently, proved to be worth it. I'm concerned that the general brightness and true RGB colors of these strips is going downhill and soon regardless of what one pays you'll get less-bright and maybe turquoise-ish for green (exhibited by one strip I have), or orange-red instead of red. I, for one, am willing to pay more for a quality strip and hope that some companies, like Zitrades (?), will continue to produce a quality item.

Bought these to put in my boat for my first adventure into LED's. The product seems to be very well built and the LED's are plenty bright. I cut the ribbon into 6 different sections and ran 22 gauge 4 conductor wire in between each section. It was a little bit of a pain because the silicon coating stuck to the leads where I needed to solder but I just strapped it off with an exacto knife before soldering. I will be buying more to run around the inside of my house eve's so I will never have to put up Xmas lights again!

Been trying to get a decent reel of RGB 5050 300 LEDs for a while and was willing to pay a few bucks more to avoid head aches.From my experience you can do better than this product/seller.1. It doesn't come with a 4-pin male to male connector, which you typically need since the reel has a female and your controller is often female too.2. Quality is questionable. Mine came with the reel snapped in 2 places and it was scotch taped back together. It wasn't even discrete.3. When using a Zitrades controller, a section was dimmer than the rest.In general I've had a hard time finding a quality LED strip. But at least http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0085IXEYS/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i01 gives you a male and female connector (one on each end).

this are a great addition if you need to extend the lights on your project.i like the fact that comes with the four tip terminal on both ends no need to wire any cables like some other models on the market. i would recommend using amplifiers to keep the same brightness on all lights !

they work great, kids love them. the only thing that could be better is the adhesive on the back.

I've worked with a few different brands of 300 5050 RGB LED strips, this one is very high quality. The reel was cracked, but this is common among all the brands, they all use the same polystyrene reels, which are prone to cracking, but has 0 impact on the product itself. Uniform color and brightness.

These lights are very bright. I would buy this again and would recommend to a friend. Looks great around the pool.
