As I have a D3 deficiency this pill is great. Due to its strength I only have to take 1 a day instead of 2 or 3. How much gets absorbed I can not tell, I am no doctor. The delivery was fast, next day. The cost is competitive with others. The pills arrived in a plain silver sealed bag inside a cardboard envelope.

In a market where there are few guarantees, a vitamin vendor's attention to detail gives you some insight into their trustworthiness. Inasmuch as I can tell, everything seems accurate. This is an update of a less positive previous review which was based on my miscounting the contents. Apologies to anyone who saw that.

This is supposed to be a years supply but the expiry date is only 6 months away. There is no way on Amazon to request a refund and returns not accepted. My only recourse is to leave this negative review of an otherwise good product. UPDATE: The seller contacted me after I posted this negative review, They apologised for their error in sending an out of date item to me and more than fully replaced the item. I have accordingly changed the overall rating from 1 to 5 stars as I am very happy with the Vitamin D tablets. Many thanks

My husband and I have been taking a tablet a day each for the past 7 months. My husband was actually deficient in Vitamin D and these have worked well to bring up his levels, which has influenced his overall health including blood sugar levels. I, however, took them just thinking it might bring up my energy levels and did not know if I was actually deficient in Vit D. I have since discovered that Vit D in high doses is very hard on the kidneys which explains the slight hyperphospatemia shown on my recent blood test results. So if you are not proven to be Vitamin D deficient, I'd suggest you proceed with caution with these tablets and maybe take only one per week or as advised by a medical professional.

Really happy with price and product. Tablets are small and easy to swallow and come in convenient ziplock bag for easy access and re-sealing.

These tablets are not 5000 units each. They are 2500 according to the packaging, and unlike most vitamin D tablets , they are not the usual gelatine capsule.
